Snozz? Knackered? Kip?

Last night I worked "Meatboy" Murphy. I wonder that's slang for. He was a good worker but our match sucked. We just didn't click.

That British dude I mentioned before who may or may not have been making fun of a prayer circle was there. I may not have this word for word, but here's what he said on the mic;

"Step up my lad and I will take you on a sailing trip and you will not like what's under the mizzen. I'll run you up a dress in taffeta. You understand me? Step into this ring and I will bake you, my god, the worst cake."

I understand from context that means "If you fight me I will fuck you up" because that's what all wrestling promos mean in the end. Is this really how some British people talk or is he off his meds? I was curious, so I tried to talk to him a little after the show.

Outside the ring he talks even more nonsense. I don't know if it's like Cockney rhyming slang or what's going on but I couldn't tell what he was saying 80% of the time. I don't know if he was propositioning me or asking me to get coffee or telling me to leave him alone.

Sometimes I see in the comments that someone has found this blog and is initially excited to read about a woman who "kicks ass". Then after a couple posts they don't like me anymore because I say something anti-feminist.

Another moment last night helped me understand better the experiences of my peers. Three dudes approached me about a spot. I don't remember their working names but they were along the lines of Crowbar or Chisel or Ramdog or Smashfist.

They have a bit they do across the land where two of them come out and get rapey with a woman wrestler after her match and then the third guy comes out to saves her. Then guy #3 and the woman make out while the crowd gets off on it.

I bet if there was any other woman on the show they wouldn't have asked me. I bet they normally do it with, wait, I was about to say something anti-feminist. I bet they normally do it with a perfectly nice woman who just has a different look than I do.

And there's nothing good or bad about the way either of us look. All women are beautiful in their own way. Wait, no, beauty doesn't matter. We're all just people and we accept our bodies the way they are and feel comfortable even when it may not match other people's ideals. We feel confident and happy with the way we look even on the days we might wish we look different.

When they came to me backstage with this idea I laughed in their faces. They got filled with weird man-anger and got all up on me about it. This did not bother me.

I realized in that moment what it might be like for someone else. I've been around these kinds of assholes enough to know that their crazy man anger isn't going to lead to anything. It's not like they were going to beat the shit out of me right there. One of them might take a dump in the gas tank of my car and then I stab him in the ass with a penknife and it's over and no harm done.

But for a lot of other women having three scary dudes surrounding you, boxing you in and getting red in the face and arm-grabby about something and you're the only woman around, that probably scares the shit out of you. Why wouldn't it? You might say "yes" to their stupid idea just to get them to leave you alone.

So you go out there and act like a slut like they want and the crowd is yelling at you to show your tits and you feel like shit because of that and because you caved in and because you should have been more careful and not let them corner you and etc.

I don't know if this revelation will help me relate to other women better but it's something.
