The two entered the UN building after being deafened by the huge crowds of people and reporters outside. Reporters always make them slightly nervous. The way that they shout statements and questions at them as they are just trying to get from A to B is intimidating. Especially if they say things that are false, as they can't correct them, which takes a lot of willpower. If they hear false information being yelled, they just have to tell the staff who deal with Avengers press and they sort it out. It's easy for the media to put words in your mouth and twist statements, so silent treatment is the best option.

Once inside, however, it was quite nice. Eleanor thought so anyway, she loved modern architecture, and the building was very modern. Nat had begun immediately searching for a place that would sell coffees, per Eleanor's request on the jet when she had nearly died at the hands of her wife's phone. But before she could really get her bearings and look around, they were recognised, and a member of staff directed them to one of the main areas of the building where the official business of the day would start.

Eleanor went to open her mouth to complain, but Natasha read her mind and interjected before she could so much as say one syllable. "I know, I know, we'll get your coffee later", she was disappointed having wanted to buy something that would cheer Eleanor up. But alas, the United Nations had different plans that were not overly appreciated. Eleanor tilted her head and tugged her lips down, acting to be in deep thought about the situation as they headed over to where they had been told to, and made a clicking sound with her tongue on the roof of her mouth, "Yeah, okay, but if I fall asleep during the main 'show', that's on you".

"How is that on me?!", Nat exclaimed as they reached their destination and continued walking forward, not really knowing where to go at that point in time. Eleanor shrugged and elbowed Nat's ribs gently, "Just is".

"Excuse me Mrs and Mrs Romanoff?", the voice of a member of staff sounded out before Nat could get a rebuttal in to defend her name. "Yes?", Nat answered as Eleanor made a small humming sound in response as she turned to look at the woman.

The staff member gave them a friendly smile which made Eleanor feel slightly better now that they were in a room full of important societal figures, "These need your signatures". She passed the clipboard over to Natasha first who signed it whilst Eleanor looked over to see what it was, not particularly wanting to sign over the parental rights to her firstborn child accidentally. She was glad to see that it was just a consent waiver, so signed it when Nat passed over the clipboard and then handed it back to the member of staff. "Thank you", Eleanor nodded.

At hearing a man's voice directly next to them, Eleanor practically jumped out of her skin, and Nat turned around smoothly. She had to hold back a smirk at Eleanor's reaction and wrapped an arm around her waist as she knew that she would likely be trying to internally regain control of her regular heartbeat. "I suppose neither of us is used to the spotlight". T'Challa, Prince of Wakanda.

"Oh, well it's not always so flattering", Nat gave a half-hearted smirk as she guided the two of them towards him. Eleanor followed along, though it wasn't like she had much of a choice, Nat's grip turned into iron when they approached the Prince, knowing that Eleanor would probably try and find an excuse to escape instead of talking to an authority figure.

"You seem to be doing alright so far. Considering your last trip to Capitol Hill", he looked between both women, Nat smiled ever so slightly, and Eleanor pursed her lips. Yeah, this crowd probably didn't have high expectations of them in legal situations. "I wouldn't think you'd be particularly comfortable in this company".

Eleanor shook her head lightly, "I am most definitely, definitely not". Natasha cleared her throat and looked at Eleanor then back to T'Challa, "What she means to say is we'll be fine", she lied with a smile. Eleanor nodded whilst looking up at the ceiling and mouthed 'right', probably not best to reveal how much they did not want to be there considering the importance.
