Eleanor clambered back onto the helicopter first, grunting as she hoisted herself up, her limbs struggling a bit more than usual due to the sudden temperature drop she had received when getting bodyslammed by an avalanche.

As soon as she was stable on her knees she scooted back towards the edge to give Natasha a hand, which was gratefully accepted and reciprocated with a tight hug before Yelena shouted "I need some help up here!", from the front. Swiftly, Nat got onto her feet and moved back to one of the pilot's seats.

Eleanor let out a relieved breath from her place on the floor, they hadn't gotten themselves killed on this mission. Yet. "Hey, new girl, I could use a little help too", Alexei held out a hand.

Eleanor quirked a brow, she didn't personally know the guy properly yet but based on Nat's experiences with him she had somewhat of a distaste. Okay, she hated his guts for what she did to the two girls that were in his care when they were mere children. "Aren't you supposed to be a super soldier?".

Alexei sighed, clearly disgruntled but lifted himself up into the helicopter to prove a point, and as soon as he stood he leaned out of the helicopter, yelling "Farewell, douchebags" in Russian. Though Eleanor thought it was rather redundant. Everyone there on the ground would be dead.

Wanting to get away from the yelling man, Eleanor stood with a huff and sat back down on her bench, putting her headphones back on to try and block out any noise, and hopefully just dissociate for a bit until she was needed. She could hear the mumbling of Alexei talking to Natasha and Yelena at the front, but she wasn't paying enough attention to make out the exact words.

Instead, she was thinking about how exhausting this had all been so far, and how she would do anything to be able to go back to the moment of watching Moonraker with Natasha, complaining about the caviar. It all seemed like a very distant memory at that point in time.

A small smile resided on her face as she thought back to that evening, the parts before it all went to shit and they were attacked. Though she looked back up at the man in the vehicle and frowned when he put on some headphones himself. Fabulous. "Wow", he chuckled and leant back forward, to immediately be punched in the face by Yelena.

Eleanor held back a laugh of her own as she watched the man take a couple of steps back in pain, but scowled at his next question. "Okay, why the aggression, huh?". Was he really so oblivious? "Is it your time of the month?". Apparently, he was.

"Oh good lord", Eleanor rolled her eyes and pressed the back of her head into the wall behind her. If he wasn't needed to find the Red Room then she would have kicked him out of the door already.

"I don't get my period, dipshit. I don't have a uterus".

"Or ovaries", Nat piled on to her sister's comment.

"Yeah, that's what happens when the Red Room gives you an involuntary hysterectomy. They kind of just go in and they rip out all of your reproductive organs", Yelena continued with some lovely hand gestures to seal the deal. Eleanor had a half smile, half grimace on her face at Yelena's dry response, but also it was a touchy topic. "They just get right in there and they chop them all away, everything out. So you can't have babies".

Alexei clearly was not appreciating the things that he was being told. Wimp, Eleanor thought to herself with a small shrug. "Okay, okay, okay!", he sat on the bench opposite her, still facing the two at the front. "You don't have to get so clinical and nasty".

"Oh, well I was about to talk about fallopian tubes, but okay". Again, Eleanor held in a chuckle.

"It means so much to me that you came back for me", Alexei spoke in a softer tone.
