A/n- I know it's a common ick/phobia for some people so just a heads up that there's talks of throwing up/gagging, but no actual throwing up in case anyone reads it and gets a lil worried. <3

Natasha's eyes rolled as she looked at Steve, before turning to face Eleanor. She was just as fed up, but also they were all intrigued somewhat. Yes, they hadn't actually been able to come up with a plan to kill Thanos, or find Thanos for that matter, but the woman with the basically godlike superpowers seemed pretty confident. Natasha left her mark first, hand ghosting over Eleanor's lower back as she moved past her and towards Carol, the other two promptly following her through the hall. "Hey, you know we usually work as a team here, and uh, between you an I morale's a little fragile".

Carol turned on the spot, hearing Natasha out, but also looking exhausted. Eleanor was also exhausted, so when Steve started doing his classic Cap talk trying to "bring the team together!", she turned to walk back in the other room, maybe to go and make a cup of tea or something, but she was scared shitless by Rhodey standing there. "Dude", she breathed out, and he gave a tired smile, watching as Eleanor ran a hand through her hair.

"You good?", he chuckled, but the undertones were there. He was checking in. She sucked her cheeks in and nodded slightly, before turning to hear another voice. A blue woman, looked to be part machine, it honestly looked painful. Eleanor hadn't talked to her properly yet, she was part of the crew Tony was in space with. Ordinarily, Eleanor would want to try and at least get to know everyone a little bit, but other than Carol she did not have the capacity to do so at the minute. She was still fucking broken. So, when Rhodey looked back up to join the conversation again, she snuck out and around the corner. Natasha would fill her in on the details of anything that they needed to go and do. Anything that they needed to go and fight. Which was all they seemed to be doing these days.

Her steps were harsh as she made her way to the kitchen, pulling out a mug and slamming it down, face set in stone as she looked at the kettle and flicked the switch. As it boiled her hands came up to her face, harshly rubbing up and down in a repetitive motion, before she shrugged her hands back to her sides. Teabag, sugar, water, milk.

She felt guilty for leaving just now, but she needed an out, even just for a few moments. She hadn't allowed herself to feel properly for a couple of weeks. Her emotions had just dwindled to numbness, and now they were all coming back to rear their ugly heads. She'd never felt so lonely in her life, and as she stared down at her favourite beverage, her hands gripped the counter and she willed herself to swallow down her heart that was threatening to come out of her throat.

It was times like this when she felt so lonely and lost, that she just wanted her Mum.

She stood, arms holding her up against the counter, just staring at the wall ahead, thinking. Everyone else was probably in a meeting but she couldn't move. She hoped they didn't mind. Hoped that they wouldn't think she was weak. Maybe she was, she thought to herself. Sure, she hadn't been sleeping, it felt as though she'd lost everyone, she'd been working to the bone to try and find Thanos and Tony the last few weeks, but so had everyone else. She shook her head wondering why she was the only person who needed to tap out.

Hands on her hips jolted her out of her own torture. Natasha. "We found him... he used the stones again, the same power surge was found on another planet", Natasha spoke softly, but deeply.

Eleanor should have been happy that they finally found him, it's all that she's wanted since she watched him portal away as Wanda's body turned to dust right in front of her. But she feels even worse than before. Before they had the excuse of "Well, it's hard to find a space Titan, so we can't blame ourselves". But if they confronted and fought him agan, and lost again, they only had themselves to blame.
