SEASON 4 - LUKANETTE

Prologue - Part 3

Gabriel meanwhile had given a gift of a couple's cloak to Chloe's parents. It was all part of his plan to akumatise them and get Chloe on his side. After he presented the gift to them over a tablet Nathalie was holding, he then transformed into Hawkmoth while Nathalie snuck upstairs and cut the cord on Chloe's bee signal so she couldn't alert Ladybug. Hawkmoth had then akumatised Chloe's bickering parents into Heart Hunter which was going around devouring love in any form. Chloe ran upstairs to the roof to alert Ladybug and found her bee signal cord destroyed. She gasped.

'My bee signal! Who did this?'

Marinette and Luka had just finished their ice cream.

'I've had such a wonderful time with you today Luka' Marinette sighed happily as she rested her head on his shoulder.

'Same here Marinette' Luka replied as he kissed her hair.

Suddenly Heart Hunter rounded a corner and spotted them.

'Ahh, there's two souls very much in love!'

Luka gasped, 'What in the world is THAT?'

They quickly got up as Heart Hunter came closer.

Luka pushed Marinette out of the way and yelled 'Run Marinette!' just before he was transformed into a heart and devoured by Heart Hunter.

'Luka!' Marinette cried.

Marinette quickly darted into an alleyway in between two buildings and because Chloe's parents' heads were so huge, they couldn't catch her.

'Oh well, she'll be the one that got away...for now!' they said as they floated off.

'Ladybug time! Tikki, spots on!' Marinette said as she transformed into Ladybug. Don't worry Luka, I'll save you!

She headed off after Heart Hunter. 'Where are you Cat Noir?' she wondered aloud as she began to fight the villain. She decided to try her lucky charm.

'Lucky Charm!' she said as her yo-yo spun around as she caught something small and round.

A token for the merry-go-round? Hmm... She disappeared in the direction of the merry-go-round in the park. But she realised Mayura was watching her.

Oh no, Mayura! she thought as she kept going to try and lose her. It worked. Or so she thought. She circled back to the merry-go-round.

'Master Fu, I need your help!' Ladybug said as she found him at the merry-go-round ticket booth.

He gasped. 'That is a nice costume miss, but is it very fitting for this place?'

'Oh no, I forgot to detransform! I haven't been followed Master, I'm sure of it!'

'Ok, Ladybug, if you want a turn on the merry-go-round you will have to pick your favourite horse' Master Fu says as he opens the miracle box for her.

Hmm, I can't use the snake miraculous, Luka's been captured she thought.

She picked up the dragon choker.

'The dragon! Are you sure?' Master Fu gasped.

'Yes Master, I have someone in mind!'

'Okay, good luck Ladybug!' he said as she swung away.

No sooner had she gone then Master Fu heard a voice.

'My dear guardian! It's so very nice to finally meet you!'

'Hawkmoth!' he gasped.

Ladybug swung back to try and find Heart Hunter.

Chloe saw her and yelled, 'You're supposed to bring me my miraculous Ladybug! They're my parents, I should be the one to try to help them!' Ladybug looked at her sadly. She knew that because Chloe didn't keep her identity a secret, it was too dangerous to give her the bee miraculous again. Chloe became angrier as she watched Ladybug swing away. She pushed her broken bee signal over the edge of the building in a rage.

Ladybug's earrings began to beep so she slipped into a deserted alleyway to detransform and refuel Tikki. Then she spotted Kagami and Adrien in the distance sharing the last of their ice-cream together. Suddenly she heard Heart Hunter's voice. 'Love, love everywhere! Can we find it here or there?'

She gasped. Tikki had just finished her macaron. 'Tikki, spots on!' Marinette whispered as she tried to get to them before Heart Hunter did.

She wanted to give Kagami the dragon miraculous. But she was too late. 'More lovebirds! Time to devour your love for each other!' Heart Hunter grinned.

Kagami pushed Adrien out of the way just as she was transformed into a heart and devoured.

Oh no! Ladybug thought. I could really use Cat Noirs help right about now!

'Adrien!' she called out to him. 'Find somewhere safe to hide! It can't fit into the alleyways! I'll deal with this!'

'Will do Ladybug!' Adrien called.

When he was out of sight Plagg came out. 'Time for Cat Noir to make his entrance!' Adrien said. 'Plagg, claws out!'

Ladybug meanwhile, was spinning her yo-yo trying to deflect Heart Hunter's blasts. 'I'll bet those miraculous earrings taste delightful!' they said.

'No miraculous feast for you today!' Cat Noir said as he joined Ladybug.

'Nice of you to finally show up!' Ladybug said.

'Hey, I'm here now, aren't I?' he replied.

They were battling Heart Hunter, but not making much headway.
