!!TW!! Discussion of CSA, Discussion of CP, CSA/CP
Genya halted, his steps slowing to a stop. There the door stood that would be his new home, but that wasn't what he was focused on. No, not at all.
"We're living next to Giyuu?" Genya turned his head to look at the said man, leaning on his door with a smile on his calm face. Sanemi huffed, turning his reddening face away from the other two. They could hear a door open and shut from down the hall, the elevator dinged in the silence until, finally, Giyuu spoke.
"Your brother wanted to ensure you both were the safest you could possibly be." He shrugged, turning to look at the other man for his agreement but he was only ignored.
"And that landed us living next to you?" Genya also looked at his brother. Sanemi turned to further ignore the two, Genya's medication rattling in his bag. The child cringed at the knowledge of the inevitable battle it would be to take that fistful of pills later. It was already making him queasy just thinking about it.
"Here, Gen~ Take these, it'll help it stop hurting." Miyano phrased it like she was helping the bruised and battered boy.
He didn't want to think about it, so he didn't.
"Yeah, it only took a little convincing, but your brother was pretty willing to move in beside me." Giyuu couldn't quite hide the slight tone of arrogance, a small smirk blooming on his face. "I only told him that my complex had great security, I didn't expect him to pick the vacant spot beside me-"
"Oh, shut it!" Sanemi flamed, his entire body a slight pink as he pushed to shove his front door open while knocking into Giyuu in the process. The other man just shrugged, holding his hands up in surrender. "The landlord recommended it to me; I had no fucking clue that your stupid ass was living here!"
"But you've been to my house..." Giyuu raised an unimpressed eyebrow and Genya watched, intrigued. His brother never flushed when he was angry, so Genya wanted to decode why the man was turning so pink. Giyuu's lip ticked up in teasing, his next words picked carefully like he had rehearsed this entire interaction. "You just wanted a free babysitter, didn't you. That's why you moved next to me."
"Oh, fuck you!" Sanemi's yell cracked at the end, but he pursued. "You fucking wish I needed you!"
Sanemi quickly entered the apartment, careful not to stomp even though he was annoyed. The open door bumped into the wall before slowly creaking and Genya could hear his brother inside the house. Finally, he took his time to take in his new surroundings. He had been here before, seen these halls and this floor but now it felt different.
The cream walls and grayish floors felt a little more important than they had before. The world outside the window felt closer than it had been just a few hours ago, people walking and driving and living lives Genya had no idea about. How many people were out there? How many of them were like him?
Obanai and Hinatsuru were. They were just like him, so how many others were there? Genya's tiny, little box of a world seemed a lot vaster than before. It wasn't just him in this storm. He wasn't the only human out there that knew how cruel people could be.
"Are you feeling okay?" Giyuu leaned closer to Genya, his sling stealing the child's focus. That had happened because of him, because Genya couldn't cope Giyuu had gotten hurt. Suddenly, the boy's wrist reminded him of the strong grip that kept him here.
The scream echoed and rattled through his skull, making the world hurt a hundred times more. The wind that pillowed him, promised him a means to an end suddenly stopped and so did his descent. His wrist popped but the pain felt a million worlds away, like it was happening to someone else.
