It has been a few weeks since the new kid started his name is Severus Snape and over the past few weeks, I've developed a huge crush as my wolf has also taken a liking to him which is good because then my wolf won't object to me asking him out but the problem is if he's my mate or not as he's not a creature so he won't like me being a wolf. But I promised James and Sirius that I'd ask him out today so I would stop going on and on about asking him out as they just want to talk about anything but my love life. So here I am in the library trying to build up the courage to ask the cutie out as he is two tables over with Regulus and Lucius which I don't particularly hate as they are both decent enough to me it's muggle-borns They don't like and I don't blame them as muggle-borns act like they own the place and tell us our traditions are wrong like their Halloween is our day of the dead where we celebrate the lives of our deceased family but that's too disturbing for them or their Christmas is our Yule this happens with every holiday and it's messed up as Dumbledore approves of them changing Hogwarts holidays to muggle ones. I approached the table to ask to talk to Snape alone as the other two looked in my direction they told Snape something then bid him a goodbye and left which is strange. "Hi, I'm Remus we are in a few classes together I just wanted to come over and talk to you." I started so it didn't sound or lion weird to him. "You already know my name but it's nice to meet you, Remus. You're the Gryffindor that most of the Slytherins talk highly of you help them out." I smiled and nodded at his statement and smiled as I knew that most Slytherins did talk about me as I help them with their studies or during holidays I wish them wizarding holidays and not muggle so they appreciate what I do. "So how have you settled in so far?" I asked trying to start a conversation and he smiled. "Yeah Slytherins have been nice enough the Gryffindor muggle-borns not so much as they tell me I'm cruel for not accepting their traditions." He told me and I nodded as that was expected. "Yeah, they get like that most of us keep out of their way and wish them their holidays then wish the Slytherins our own as it causes less drama," I explained and he nodded as he understood. "So is there a real reason you came to talk to me or are you gonna continue the pointless conversation?" He asked and I knew I was caught. "I did want to ask you out but I figured you would say no so I wanted to talk to you first," I told him looking down embarrassed. "Aww, you look so cute when you're blushing! Also, I have been trying to drop hints at you for weeks. I wasn't the one gonna ask you out that's not in my nature I was waiting for you!" He exclaimed and I was in shock he wanted me to make the first move. "So Saturday 6 o'clock sounds good I'll meet you outside Slytherin common room?" I asked and he nodded cutely and smiled. I got up walked round behind him and kissed his cheek before leaving the library and I instantly knew he was my mate as I felt the sparks of when you touch your mate and I wanted him so bad. I was waiting for Severus who Regulus said was freaking out over what to wear even though he'd look amazing in anything but I knew I'd embarrass him if I told Regulus to tell him that so I waited a few minutes. He finally walked down the stairs in an amazing outfit that made him look hot as hell and made me freeze on the spot as I didn't expect him to look so flawless and perfect. He was wearing black ripped jeans with a chain connected to the belt he was wearing a red crop top that had accents of gold through it that was a halter neck. He had black steel-toe cap boots that had a slight heel to them and then a black cloak that went over it overall he looked amazing. I hadn't realised I was staring till I blinked a few times and saw a worried look on his face. "You don't like the outfit I can change if you want?" He stated as he turned ready to go back to his room. "Who told you that? Because I think you look perfect from head to toe I don't know how someone can look so flawless in such a casual outfit but somehow you do." I told him and he turned and smiled at me then I noticed that his hair was styled in a side shade and was curled in loops and I needed help if I was gonna survive without having him tonight. "Thanks, you look amazing!" He exclaimed grabbing my hand as we started walking I brought him into the forbidden forest and to a clearing that had a river to the side that had a waterfall run into it. It had many different types of flowers that are rare to find in any other place and I knew he loved to find new ingredients for potions. While he was admiring the place he saw the picnic blanket laid out and basket. We sat down and talked and laughed for a few hours then I decided I had to tell him as Moony wanted to meet him and if it happened Severus might not know what was happening. "Severus, can we talk about something really serious?" I asked and he smiled and nodded. "Well, you know how creatures have mates and how some people can be turned into creatures while others inherit or are born one?" I asked as I didn't want to just assume he knew everything and lose him along the way. "Remus I know a lot about creatures." He told me and I nodded. "Okay, so Severus I was bitten by a werewolf when I was 5 due to my father making a mistake and needing to pay it back. As a result, I became one my wolfs name is Moony though it's rare I can let him out due to school.
