Severus' pov:
Recently I've seen regulus walking around wearing a Slytherin hoodie and I haven't a clue who owns it but it sure ain't his as it's two sizes too big. I wouldn't mind if he was wearing one it's just the fact I like regulus as more than just a friend but I know there won't ever be anything between us which is why I don't say anything even when I want to. Currently I am in the library watching as regulus looks through the books on the fantasy side of the library which is adorable as he can't reach the top shelf and he pouts then turns to a different section little does he know when he returns to our table there is a stack of all the books he couldn't reach and was too proud to ask for help with. As he stomped back to the table with no books as he couldn't reach any of the good books his eyes widened as he came to see all the books he wanted sitting beside me in a neat pile waiting for him and he hid a small smile. "Are you gonna make fun of me that I'm too small too?" He questioned looking down and my eyes widened. "Who made fun of you?" I questioned and he looked down. "Narcissa and Bellatrix." He replied and i nodded but grew angry at both girls. "I'll never make fun of you and your not short your a year younger than me and I'm still growing taller so why can't you." I told him and he gave me a genuine smile before sitting down and reading the books. When we packed up he was on the third book out of six so decided to take the last three back to the dorms. As we walked into the common room I seen Bellatrix and Narcissa making fun of regulus' height and I was pissed. "Hey shorty!" I called and everyone looked confused. "Regulus is beside you Severus!" Narcissa called while giggling and I looked at her. "But your shorter than him!" I told her and she looked at me. "Yes but I'm tall for a girl." She shouted trying to make a point. "Actually nearly everyone in hear is shorter than him so why are you all laughing when he's one of the tallest in here and yet most of you are older!" I explained and everyone blushed and looked away. "How about we see how annoying it gets when I call all of you short for the rest of the year." I told them and all of them looked guilty and upset. "You can't do that!" Bellatrix screamed. "Watch me bitch!" I shouted back and stormed away with regulus. When we reached my dorm room he burst into fits of giggles which was adorable. "Thanks for protecting me." He replied softly then kissed my cheek before stopping at the door. "I love you Severus!" He called behind him as he ran out and by the time I reached the door he was already out of sight. I chuckled knowing I'd be able to catch him before breakfast as he's a late sleeper on weekends. As I woke up the next morning I instantly went to get changed and left quickly as I arrived in the common room everyone was silent as I walked through. "Short people!" I greeted in a polite voice and everyone just stayed silent knowing they were in the wrong. I quickly left and seen regulus not far ahead of me so I sped up to reach him. "Hey cutie I love you!" I whispered into his ear and he jumped as I stepped back and chuckled. "What the fuck sev!" He shouted and I laughed. "That was revenge for yesterday." I told him which a chuckle. "Do you mean it like as in love a romantic partner or love a friend?" He questioned and I laughed. "Well I mean romantic not friendship." I told him  and he smiled before kissing me hard and with so much love. Our lips moved in sync with each other till we had to pull apart for air and just stood there in silence knowing this was endgame.
