James pov:
I've had a huge crush on Snape since first year but I've seen the signs of him liking someone else even when everyone's tried to tell me I was hallucinating but I know what I've seen. He smiles more when he gets the mysterious letters at breakfast and he always has a new piece of jewellery every day but one is consistent a ring specifically a courting ring that isn't his family which proves it but everyone is still denying it. Snape has been avoiding me for months which I find quite strange due to him literally running down the hall yesterday when I said hello to him which is suspicious. I can't find anyone who will speak to me about it that doesn't try to convince me that he likes me I just want the truth. This is why I decided on Regulus and Lucius they never lie even when the truth hurts and they know Snape the best.
"Potter, how can we help you?" Malfoy questioned curiously since I've never asked them for help ever.
"I need the truth even if it'll hurt and everyone keeps telling me that it isn't true," I explained and they both nodded.
"Is Snape dating anyone?" I questioned and they got a look of recognition.
"Well sorta?" Lucius said but in a questioning tone.
"He is dating someone but he's polyamorous which means he is willing to date more than one person at a time so is the person he's dating and they are looking for a third but we don't know if they've found someone yet. Sorry James." Regulus explained while looking guilty.
"Regulus thank you for telling me the truth," I told him and he smiled a little at me. "Everyone kept telling me I was imagining that he was dating someone even though I could see it," I said and he smiled and nodded.
"It's better knowing the truth honestly Jamie." He said and waved goodbye as I left while smiling for finally knowing the truth. As I headed towards the dorm I bumped into Snape and he turned to try to run but I caught him.
"Hold it! what's going on with you?" I asked and he looked away.
"Nothing going on!" He all but shouted and I looked at him before turning and dragging him along the hall to my secret room which no one knows about not even Sirius and Remus.
"Okay spill what's up? is it the person you're dating? Are you nervous because of something? Why are you avoiding me?" I questioned and he looked down then I saw a snake emerge from his shoulders before dropping to the ground and transforming into a handsome as hell man how's he so hot?
"James this is Tomas my boyfriend Tom this is James Potter." Severus introduced but it didn't explain anything. "I've been avoiding you because we've been discussing if we could ask you to be our third but I already told Tom that you wouldn't agree which is why I was avoiding you because you would make me tell you what's wrong." He rambled out and I chuckled at his nervousness.
"Severus you are the most oblivious person in the school I've been crushing on you for years and you're the only one not to know and I don't care if I have to share you as long as I can have you as well as how'd you get such a hot boyfriend like where'd he come from hell." I rambled and Severus giggled and hugged me.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you when something was wrong," Severus said and laid his head on my shoulder.
"So Tom can I get to know you properly without sev or am I only allowed around when sev is?" I asked and Tom chuckled.
"James in this relationship we are all equal that means Severus is as much mine as he is yours and you are as much mine as you are sevs which also makes me both of yours." He explained and I nodded.
"That means I can kiss you or do I have to wait till we go on a date beforehand?" I questioned and Tom chuckled.
"Told you he would like you!" Sev shouted at Tom and he laughed. "Tom thought if we decided to add you that if you did accept you would only want me and not him," Sev explained and I laughed.
"I get to date a Greek god and a beautiful sculpture how can I not be privileged," I shouted at them and they both laughed and hugged me because Tom crashed his lips against mine in a hot make-out session and he was good at it as his lip moved in sync with mine and sev sucked on my neck before they swapped places but I took control of the kiss with sev and he melted against me as Tom left marks across my neck. I guess everyone was right Sev did like me even though he was dating someone.
