James' pov:
Within our nature tribe the new kid has been so quiet and distant from everyone which I find quite adorable but it's also annoying as I can sense he is my other half my little mate but everytime I approach he runs like I'm gonna kill him. In this tribe we are all part animal so I'm half stag half human but I'm unsure what he is and he gives no indication as he always has a hood up and his clothes are baggy which is frustrating. Sirius says maybe people have told him my reputation and that's why he's scared but just because I'm a bad boy doesn't mean I'll hurt him especially since he's my mate but he just won't let me even get close to him. Remus told me to give him time to adjust before trying to talk to him but it's getting harder. I am currently in the main house playing with some young does and stags as that's one of my favourite things when I noticed him watching me. "Hada!!!" One of the younger boys and newer kids screamed and reached while the little girl also reached and he smiled. "Hey baby's how's my little one?" He questioned and the girl clapped which he smiled at and the boy pulled his hood to expose amazing antlers that were probably bigger than mine. He picked up the girl and the boy climbed onto his back. "Hey hades how's little lily? And handsome little Albus?" Remus asked him which he smiled at. "My lily is fine and Al seems hyper gonna let them run steam aren't I babies?" He asked them which they nodded to. "You can't leave territory hades!" Remus scowled and hades glared at him. "You can't stop me! The only reason I joined this stupid tribe is because I needed to get away from that abusive ass don't think I'm here because I want to be. Also try tell me what to do again and you will learn that a stag is more dangerous than a wolf fast." He growled at Remus before storming out with the kids which I quickly walked over to Remus. "You okay remy?" I asked concerned which he nodded to me but I followed hades out. "What's your problem?" I shouted at him which made him stop and turn to me before setting both kids down for them to go play. "Excuse me! You have no right to follow me out and question me when you don't know me." He growled at me which I chuckled at. "Yeah I don't know you because everytime I try to talk to you I'm either ignored or you run away from me but you do not speak to my friends like that or threaten remy when all he wanted to do was help you." I growled at him which I seen his eyes shift down to the ground. "You don't get to place judgment on me." He whimpered which I nodded. "I haven't either just don't speak to Remus like that and I won't come after you like this." I told him which he nodded and turned to leave. "Can I ask why you don't want me around? I get it if I'm annoying or rude but I haven't even spoken to you." I asked which I seen him try to shake something off before turning with a sad look. "Your not my first mate James. I had a mate before which is how I have lily but he physically and mentally abused the three of us. I promised my parents I'd protect my brother and I almost couldn't. I'll never be in that situation again so that's why I don't want you around because you dominants are all the same to me. You expect us to adore you and trust you when you don't earn either then you hurt us and don't think I haven't heard your reputation so no thanks I'm good." He told me before walking away and I looked down before going after him. "You don't know a thing about me do you Hadrian?" I questioned and he turned confused. "I was in foster care from I was one till 10 when I was reunited with my parents who thought I was dead and the only reason they found me was because my stag had reached out to my sister for help because I was on the verge of death after my most recent punishment which was a beating. Don't assume you know me or my life because you don't. I was abused for years and yes I'm known as a bad boy but that's because everyone that I tried to get close to left when they found out how truly broken I am only Remus and Sirius ever stayed. So if you don't want me to judge you then don't judge me." I growled and stormed away as I don't appreciate because judged on how others perceive me. Once I got to my cabin I slammed the door so hard that the structure shook. I heard a knock after a few hours so I decided to answer and tell Sirius to leave and that I'm fine just annoyed. As I opened the door I froze when Hadrian stood there looking down. "I'm sorry I judged you too quickly." He offered me a small smile. "That's fine." I said returning the smile which he leaned up and kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry I said you were like everyone else because your not and I knew that from the start but I'm scared but you started to like you and I..." he rushed out before cutting himself off by looking down which I smiled. "Do want to come in we can watch films and cuddle bring the little ones if you want." I offered which he nodded to and the younger two were at his feet in seconds with smiles. "Who wants to watch Disney movies?" I asked and they squealed. "Go get on the big bed then we can cuddle and have sweets while watching quick!" I called a as they ran in and onto the bed and hades smiled and kissed my cheek with a quiet thanks as he climbed onto the bed. As we all settled in to watch the movies they all curled into me which I found adorable.
