Remus' pov:
It's been years from I met my 'crushes' as everyone says but I know they are my mates but I refuse to even acknowledge that idea as then I'll have to either accept or deny and they won't ever date me and I know that because they are both normal wizards and I've heard them talking about how wolves are dark creatures. Currently I'm wandering the corridor when I heard my 'crushes' talking round the corner so I hid behind one of the statues to be able to hear them and not be caught.
"We can't hide our feelings forever Ev!" Barty whisper shouted at Evan with annoyance in his voice. "Yes we can and we will you know we aren't allowed to show we support dark creatures!" Evan replied in the same tone as Barty and I was confused. "But Ev I really wanna be with him even in secret is better than this do you know how hard it is to ignore and avoid him." Barty explained while whining. "Yes I do actually as I have classes with him and wish I could just sit with him but I can't Bart because it's not allowed." Evan told him sternly. "But why?" Barty whined even more. "Bart you know the ministry will investigate our families if we date a wolf and we can't take that risk if my parents get found out Pandora get rehoused which I refuse to allow. You may not have to worry about that but I do so as far as I'm concerned Remus Lupin is a forbidden area!" Evan scowled him before walking away but just by looking at him you could tell he wasn't happy about it either. "I wish I could have both of you because I hate not having Remus!" Barty whispered while sliding down a wall. So I decided not to make it obvious that I was listening and walked down the corridor then turned around and walked back turning the corner so he could hear my footsteps coming. "Hey crouch you okay?" I questioned and he nodded while standing up and turning his back but I just smiled. I decided just to go to dinner as it was starting in a few minutes and if I'm not there everyone will assume the worst. As I'm a werewolf every student and parents have to be informed incase they aren't comfortable being around me which they then move schools which I have to get weekly checks which is tonight. As I sat down beside James the door opened and Greyback was escorted in by three ministry officials and the minister. "We found him lurking around he isn't waiting for you is he?" The minister called with a huff. "Obviously not as I haven't spoken to my father in seven years from before I started Hogwarts as he decided that he knew best and tried to force my wolf to come out in turn scaring my body." I growled at the man I once knew as my father. Lupin is from my step father who always hated me because I was part wolf but Greyback isn't much better seeing as he almost killed me when I was 9 by forcing a shift and in turn left my body with scars. "Okay remus you turned 18 the start of this week! That means you and your mates are free to be together with no ministry interruptions." The minister stated calmly while nodding and turned and walked out while everyone sat shocked not able to move. I knew what happened my father explained what would happen to me if I didn't find my mates and he told them that my mates wouldn't dare come to me as they would fear being taken from their families.
As dinner ended and we all headed to our respective rooms I found myself wondering the corridors down to where Evan and Barty were arguing and decided to sit against the wall and just think. As I sat there I felt a presence on each side then I felt then cuddle into my sides causing electric shocks to run through me. I turned to see my two mates sat on either side with a smile on their faces which was nothing but contagious and I ended up cuddling into them as they planted a kiss on each cheek. "We're sorry! We..." Evan started but I kissed him quickly to shut him up. "I heard your conversation earlier with Barty. I understand completely I have a little sister too and I would kill this whole world before allowing anyone to touch her." I told him and he smiled hugging me tightly. I turned around after and kissed Barty just like I kissed Evan before hugging him. "I love you both my mates!" I called as we cuddled together in an abandoned hallway. "We love you too!" They called together peacefully as they both drifted to sleep and I followed suit.
