Chapter 17: Chunin Exams entrance form & Famlair faces

The following morning, Kei woke up to the sunlight shining through the window of her face, making her groan as she slowly opened her eyes.

'It looks like it is morning already. I didn't learn a lot like my father, but I did find some information on him last night.' She thought as she looked at the clock and saw it was seven in the morning.

She got and headed towards the bathroom to shower and get dressed for the day.

A good fifteen minutes later, she walked out of the bathroom with her long raven with her bangs combed on her forehead. She was dressed in a black shirt, dark green jacket, and grey anbu style pants, as well as a purple crystal necklace that her mother gave her on her neck.

She walked downstairs and put her ninja sandals on as she decided to eat out for breakfast this morning and go for a walk before she met up with her team at the Sushi restaurant.

Kei was walking toward one of her favorite food shops for breakfast when she heard a voice call her name.

"Kei!" A voice shouted from behind her.

She turned around to see the familiar face of Ino Yamanaka coming her way.

"Good morning Ino," Kei greeted.

"Morning Kei, what are you doing up this early?" Ino asked.

"I'm off to get breakfast. What about you?" Kei asked.

"I'm going to meet up with my team, but I saw you, so I decided to say hello," Ino replied.

"I see well, see you around, Ino!" Kei said, waving bye before heading on off.

Kei arrived at her favorite food shop and ordered some Mochi and green tea. After ordering her breakfast, she found a sit outside to herself.

While waiting for her Mochi and tea, she thought about why the team was supposed to meet up at the sushi restaurant this afternoon.

She finally got her food and tea and started eating and drinking. She hadn't had Mochi for a while. They were delicious like all ways. So much better than the dangos Anko makes for breakfast.

When she was finished, she got up and paid the bill and decided to go for a walk since she still had time before she had to meet up with her team this afternoon.

She had just finished her walk in the park and was now heading toward the sushi restaurant.

As she walked, she noticed the people that were living their lives. Minding their own business, running errands, and working.

She smiled, looking up at the beautiful sunny sky today was a beautiful day. When suddenly, something crashed into her making her fall back.

"Ugh," She groaned, lying on the ground.

"Sorry, Kei," A familiar voice said; she looked up to see that it was Naruto who had run into her."Let me help you," He said, holding out a hand.

"Naruto," She said, blushing slightly as she grabbed Naruto's hand and stood back up."Thank you, but why were you running?" She asked.

"I'm supposed to meet my team at the bridge but woke up late," Naruto replied.
