The sounds of the birds chirping and splashing animals swimming in the water could be heard. Orochimaru was sitting in a tree as he glanced down at Kei, looking at the sky.
"Well, you going to give the justu another try or not?" He asked.
"Right was thinking about what with wrong earlier," She replied.
"You didn't focus enough, chraka, the first time. Now, try again," He explained.
'Alright, I can do this.' She thought, biting her finger.
"Summoning Justu!" She exclaimed, placing her hand on the ground.
Orochimaru narrowed his eyes at the puff of smoke that appeared in front of Kei.
'Let's see what she summoned this time.' He thought, watching the smoke start to clear up.
As the smoke cleared up this time, a brown snake slightly larger than the white snake from earlier was summoned.
"This time, you were more successful, but you need to draw out more chakra still," Orochimaru explained."Now try again and focus on your charka, and after this, you can leave. I can tell you're getting exhausted from hours of training, especially working on more than one justu today."
"I can keep going for a few more hours," Kei said, rubbing her forehead, feeling herself starting to sweat from all the training.
"The most important thing for a shinobi to know is that when they're at their limit, if you push yourself, it only leads to your death," Orochimaru stated.
"Right, I rest after this, father," She replied, making Orochimaru raise an eyebrow.
"Father, still quite surprised you accepted that fact so quickly after battling you in the Forest of Death," He commented.
"I admit I'm still confused about what kind of relationship this is," Kei admitted."Are you if we even have one, or if you plan to do something with me now that I accept it trains with you and unseal my mark," She stated, making hand signs and performing the summoning justu again.
Orochimaru sighed as he heard her words and saw the snake wasn't much bigger than the one she summoned earlier.
"My plan, as I mentioned, was only to mark Sasuke Uchiha, not you," He replied."Through after meeting you, I do have multiple ideas in my head, but as for what they are, it is hard to explain them to you now. Just know that you're more than a pawn if that's what your worry about."
"I'm curious about what you want with me now that I distracted you from getting Sasuke for as long as I could," She said as the summoned snake left."So I can wait for you to explain what it is that my purpose."
"When the time comes, you find out for now; training is over for today. Eat and relax. We continue summoning the next time and finally get to teach you how to use your Kekkei Genkai and if the time before the months over sword training," Orochimaru said, dismissing Kei.
"I would love to learn more about using a sword and see you for the next training session, father," She said.
Orochimaru nodded slightly and took off, sinking into the ground.
'This was a decent training session. He taught a decent amount over the two days of training we had so far.' Kei thought, looking at the empty spot of where her summoning was earlier, before walking off to grab a quick lunch and then head on home to shower.

It had been two hours since Kei had ended her training with Orochimaru. She had just finished eating a bowl of Napolitan pasta from a lovely pasta shop she wanted to try that was right across from her favorite rice shop.
