"Father," I said with a hint of surprise in my voice as I noticed my father's presence inside of my hospital room.

"There is no need for that expression hatching. As I said, I'm not here to attack you," My father replied, giving me a strange smile showing his snake-like teeth.

I narrowed my eyes slightly as I focused on my father's keeping my guard up after he attacked me earlier in the forest. I didn't fully trust the words coming from his mouth.

"Then what do you want, father?" I questioned harshly.

"No need to be defensive, my hatching," He chuckled."I'm sure you've been curious about your father for a long time, haven't you?" He questioned, walking closer to me and rubbing his hand against my face as he smiled at me.

'What is he planning?' I questioned, looking at his hand touching my face, and I swallowed nervously.

"Maybe, but what exactly is your point, and what does that have to do with being in my hospital room?" I asked, glancing into his eyes that my resembled showing me how much I indeed looked like my father.

"The point, my hatchling, is if you honestly what to know about me and why I gave you that mark, then meet near the outskirts of the village near a location near a beautiful scenery of water, an old favorite place of mine," He replied removing his hand off of my face.

I narrow my eyes in thought as he sinks through the ground and exits my hospital room, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

'I'm very interested, but at the same time, I don't know if I can fully trust his words.' I thought as I lay down comfortably on my hospital bed.

As I was about to close my eyes and get some more rest as my body still felt sore and exhausted from the sealing just and my match earlier. I was drifted from my moment of peace as the soy d of my bedroom slammed open.

I lifted my head slightly from the bed and glanced over to see Naruto enter into the room, followed by Akira and Kaito.

"You idiot, don't go barging into this hospital like that without permission. You hear the lady at the desk; Kei is asleep. Get out of here before you wake her!" Kaito snapped, pulling Naruto back from the collar of his jacket.

"Kaito, your both idiots; look what you did," Akira said, hitting the boys on the head and then pointing at me.

"Kei, your awake sorry," Kaito apologized sheepishly.

"Kei, your awake!" Naruto shouted loudly with a giant smile breaking free from Kaito's hold and running toward me.

"Yeah," I replied, shifting in my bed and getting more comfortable in my bed as Naruto leaned close to me, hugging me.

"Hey, let her be. She is still healing, so don't go hugging her like that," Kaito said, pulling Naruto off me.

"Sorry about the two idiots," Akira said, pushing the two boys away from the bed."Was there someone here earlier?" She asked curiously.

"I don't think there be anyone here, but then again, I was still asleep," I replied, not telling them about my father's visit."Why are you asking?"

"Maybe it was the nurse earlier. It's just your window is opened, and I figured you hadn't gotten out of bed to open it," Akira commented and nodded to the open window.

'Did father open my window before he left, or was he here the whole time I was out of it and opened it then?' I thought as I looked at the opened window.

"Probably was the nurse, so did you finish your matches already?" I asked, looking back at my visitors.

"Yeah, and I won my match against Kiba!" Naruto shouted with a large smile.

"The preliminary matches actually had ended yesterday, and everyone is now given a month to train for the final matches," Akira explained. "My match was against Sakura. She had an excellent fight but not well enough to beat me."

"Really, you and Sakura. Who did you fight, Kaito?" I asked.

"My match was against Choji and man, he lost that match very quickly," Kaito replied, shaking his head."Speaking of the final matches, you will be fighting a girl name Ren, the only Hidden Grass shinboi to make it to the finals."

"So a grass ninja, my next opponent."

"Yeah, to prepare for the match, Kaito is training with his father, and i'm working with a lady that Mizuko-sensei's friend with who she believes will be a benefiting sensei to help me prepare," Akira replied.

"I'm stuck with a pervy old man!" Naruto exclaimed.

"Oh, guess I better get myself some training as well," I commented.

"I'm sure my mom will train you herself or can find someone who will be willing to help you prepare for the final matches," Kaito said.

"Come on, you boys, we should let Kei get some more rest, and I'm sure we all need to meet with our sensei for training soon anywhere. At least I know I have training in a few more hours," Akira said, dragging the two boys near the door.

"Okay, see you later," I said, laying my head back down on my pillows Naruto, Akira, and Kaito left my hospital room.

After they left the room, my attention turned toward the window as I heard a familiar voice in my head.

"If you want to know more about me and why I gave you that mark. Then come and meet me on the outskirts of the village."

I sighed as my father's words and voice repeated in my head, and I continued to glance out the window.

"You know what? I have to get my answers. I need to know why I never met him and why people haven't told me anything about him, and what this mark is for," I said, grabbing my clothes out of the closet and climbing out of the window, closing it before setting off, to see my father for the answers my heart desired to know.
