We watched as the Chunin who stood in between us and the gate grabbed a padlock and inserted the key. He unlocked the chasing that held the hate closed. He did not open it afterward. Instead, he turned to face us with his arms crossed over his chest.

We all knew he was waiting for Anko's signal to begin.

I took this opportunity to reach into my pouch and pull out a green scroll. I crouched down while unrolling the scroll and placed it on the ground.

I then formed quick hand signs, making a puff of smoke erupt from the scroll's surface. In a few seconds, the white smoke cleared up, revealing a black sheath with a purple and black sword secured inside of it.

I picked up the sheath and palaces the straps around my upper back, making the sheath secure on my back. I then placed a hand on the smooth handle of my sword as I pulled it out, feeling a wave of confidence surge through my body. I haven't fully mastered my style of Kenjustu, but I have learned a few techniques from my books and Mizuko-sensei.

After moving my hand from my sword, I reached down and picked up the empty scroll and put it back into my pouch. I then turned around and waited for the gate to open.

My teammates and I remained in since as we waited for the signal to begin the second exam.

That is when we finally heard Anko's voice. "We will now the Second Exam!"

The Chunin in front of us suddenly vanished as the gate flew open widely by some invisible force. The three of us wasted no time and spirited into the forest without delay.

After running in the forest for about a few minutes, I lifted up my left, signaling my teammates to a stop. We slowed down our movements until we halted and stood in a circle.

"I think it is best if I check out our surroundings first," I said calmly.

"Why?" Kaito asked with an eyebrow raised.

"We have to be careful, careful about who we attack," Kei said."For example, we have to avoid we have to avoid teams we know to stronger than us, or we risk losing our scroll," I explained.

"Alright, do what you have to do then," Akira said, giving me her consent.

I nodded as I placed my hands on the ground and closed my eyes as I focused my senses on the presence of any teams nearby. My teammates stood in silence as I kept my hands on the ground.

"Alright," I said and opened my eyes as I looked back at my teammates.

"So, did you sense anyone?" Kaito asked.

"I sensed a team in that direction taking a break to rest," I said, pointing in the left direction."There is another team strolling aimlessly in the right direction as well."

"I see," Kaito started, "I suggest we attack the team taking a break before they get ready to move."

"I agree on. I suggest we observe them before we attack," Akira stated.

"Right," Kaito and I said together before we lept off in the team's direction, taking a break to rest.

A couple of minutes later, we could faintly make out three different voices not too far from where we were. Knowing that it was the three, I sensed we proceeded to move forward until we saw three figures who gathered in a circle on the ground sitting.

Kaito, Akira, and I slowed down and landed stealthily on a tree. We looked down on them with closed lips.

I study their headband, trying to get a look at what village they were from. I easily spotted the symbol of Takigakure carved into their headband.

"There from Takigakure," I whispered lowly so only my teammates could hear.

"Alright, so far, I haven't spotted any traps," Akira whispered back.

We then focused on gaze on the three as one of them stood up suddenly.

"You both never listen to anything I say!" A boy with spiky chestnut hair shouted, his fist shaking rapidly as he clenched it angrily."Look at you two just ignoring me. For as long as we have been a team, you never gave me any teamwork seriously; you hate me that much?" He asked with a frown on his face.

"Shut up all you do is act like it's all about you!" A girl with long periwinkle hair snapped."So don't act like it is your fault. There is no teamwork."

"She right when we do help you decide your idea is better, you're the one without teamwork!" A boy with curling black hair snapped.

The next thing I knew, all three continued to bicker over the lack of teamwork. The girl is angry at the previous boy and his high ego, thinking he is better and not the cause of the lack of cooperation. While the other boy agreed with her on it being that boy's fault.

'Wow, they shouldn't even be a team. Especially the boy who was the one who started the fight; his ego is way too high. He is worse than Sasuke; at least he can show some respect to certain people.'

We exchanged glances seeing the team was distracted, a sign that we could successfully attack them. Kaito and Akira both took out a kunai and griped them in their hand. At the same time, I reached up and grabbed my sword.

After, I nodded, signaling to go. Kaito and Akira launched themselves at the clueless Takigakure ninja.

I stood still in my spot with narrow eyes, waiting to make my move. The three ninjas finally reacted when my teammates were only a few meters away from them; however, before they could do anything, Kaito and Akira had immobilized them, pushing the two genin against a tree with a kunai held closely to their face, threateningly.

I narrowed my eyes as I caught a glimpse of the female genin trying to make a run for it as she let in the air to escape. I swiftly pulled out my sword and charged at her, and quickly stabbed her shoulder as I pushed her down to the ground, causing her to let out a sharp cry of pain.

While I kept my eyes narrowed on the female who was whimpering in pain as I held my sword against her shoulder blade. Kaito had tied the two boys up as Akira searched for a scroll. The two boys groaned as they tried to break free. Akira searched the ninja pouch she had taken off them earlier.

I then brought a finger up as I cast a genjustu, making them scream in pain until all three of them passed from a Genjustu I had made myself.

"Here it is!" Akira called out, pulling a scroll out from the pouch she took from the chestnut hair boy.

"What scroll am it?" Kaito asked, rushing over towards Akira.

I stood next to the girl as. I watched silently as their faces turned into a frown. Right then, I knew that we had the wrong scroll.

"It's a scroll of Heaven," Akira said with a sigh.

"Then we will have to find another team then...what a pain," Kaito groaned, annoyed.

"Yes, forget the scroll. We don't need it," I said."I suggest we find a different team, the one mear the right gone now," I stated, sensing the other team was gone.

"Alright, girls sense out a team and lead the way," Kaito saluted.

With that failed attempt, we tossed the scroll back at the knocked-out Genin and set off to find another team as the second exam had officially begun.
