Kei stirred from underneath her covers as she felt a gentle breeze blowing against her face and slowly opened her eyes to see her window cracked open. Kei stirred from underneath her covers as she felt a gentle breeze blowing against her face. Slowly, she opened her eyes to see the window in her bedroom cracked open, allowing the mid-afternoon breeze to dance through the room. Her eyes immediately fell upon the bedside table, where the remnants of her miso soup were now replaced by a cup of steaming tea.

'My window... how did that get open?' Kei thought groggily, rubbing her eyes. 'It must have been Anko's doing. She must have taken my bowl while I was sleeping. She left; she even left a cup of tea.'

With a yawn, Kei slowly sat up and reached for the note beside the tea. The note was scrawled in Anko's familiar handwriting, with a few playful scribbles that brought a smile to Kei's face.

Hey, brat,

I will be heading out for a bit to meet up with Genma. I figured you probably could use something to drink when you woke up, so I left you a cup of tea. I'll be back before dinner. If you're meeting up with Naruto soon, good luck with that. Just be back before dinner.

Signed, Anko

Kei folded the note and set it aside, feeling a mix of gratitude and amusement. Anko's thoughtfulness, though unconventional, was a comfort. She picked up the cup of tea and took a sip, letting the warmth spread through her. As she took in the gentle aroma of the tea, she felt a renewed sense of energy.

She then slipped out of bed carefully so as not to aggravate her sore muscles as she walked over towards the window, gazing outside as the breeze gently blew through her long raven color hair. She took a deep breath of air as her mind filled with thoughts of talking to Naruto since their argument.

Kei soon finished her tea and headed downstairs and decided to head out for a walk around the village before heading to Naruto's apartment to talk with him.

As Kei strolled through the villages, she couldn't help but think about Anko's meeting up with Genma. Those two often met up, and sometimes she wondered if it was simply to hang out on missions or simply have feelings for each other. However, she shrugged off those thoughts, seeing it wasn't her business on why they met up so often.

Kei was then pulled out of her thoughts as she heard a familiar voice and felt someone standing beside her all of a sudden. She glanced up to see Kakashi, who was the sensei of Team Seven, which was the team Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were on.

"Good afternoon, Kei. See you finally left the hospital," Kakashi greeted, holding his regular orange book in his hand as he looked at Kei with a closed-eyed smile."It's good to see you recovering. You had your three fanboys worried Naruto, Shikamaru, and Sasuke were visiting nonstop, though Shikamaru was too lazy to admit his concern and Sasuke was too brooding to admit his concern," He stated.

Kei raised an eyebrow curiously as she titled her head in thought.'I guess Akira was right. Maybe Shikamaru and Sasuke do have feelings for me, but when did they develop them? Sasuke in the academy was always mad when I beat him in tests, and Shikamaru always said girls were a drag.'

Kei then snapped out of her thoughts and focused back on her conversation with Kakashi."Oh, I didn't know Shikamaru and Sasuke visited, but at least Sasuke recovered from his run-in with his brother while I was out of it," She said.
