It was a beautiful Saturday evening in the city of Udaipur. The sun had begun to set and the sky had started to turn pink when the Surgery Ward of the Udaipur Medical College was buzzing with staffs, interns and postgraduates who were busy with shift closure and handing over of stuff.
Dr.Naira walked out of the ward with files stacked in one hand and her mobile phone glued to her ear with the other hand
"Yes Dr.Sinha I have checked all the case files and everything is under control, you please enjoy your vacation with your family" said Naira as she entered the elevator
The call finally got disconnected by the time the elevator reached the first floor from the fifth . Naira got out of the elevator after handling her files and headed to the consultation room when her mobile rang. She groaned and looked at the display showing "Muma"
"Whats so urgent that Muma is calling again and again" she muttered to herself as she placed the files on the table inside the consultation room and picked up the call

" Haan Muma" said Naira
"Naira our relative Mohit Uncle is coming home for dinner with his wife so please come home early, I have already informed Rohan and he will be here too, Gayu is already home helping me with dinner so you don't make any delay" said Akshara in a hurry
"Haan Maa my duty is over Im leaving in 5 minutes and Ill be home soon dont worry" she said as she disconnected the call and crashed into her chair
Before she could leave a sigh of relief the door opened again and made Naira groan with despair. It had been a long day since her duty started at 7 in the morning. The absence of Dr.Sinha already made it difficult for all the second and third year postgraduates and the residents of their unit, in addition to it, it was OT day for them and Naira wasn't able to sit even for a moment till an hour back when the surgeries came to an end. Even then Naira had to run to the wards to look after their in patients. With every joint of her body aching Naira dreaded any more emergencies
To her relief the door wasn't opened for any emergency but it was opened by her friend Suhana who walked in with another stack of files. Suhana too looked as pale and tired as Naira
