Hospital, Udaipur, 4 50 pm, a few minutes before when Kartik received the SOS message from Naira
Naira was in her room in the OPD when she saw the time
"Its almost fine mujhe nikhalna hoga, only then Ill be able to reach the coffee shop by 5" she thought toggling her mobile screen to open the chat with Kartik
"Aapki neck pe joh nishani chod kar aaya hoon uss ka mit jaane se pehle aapko apni baahon mein lene ka soch raha hoon...5pm coffee shop" his message made her heart race and she bit her lip blushing hard
Just then Kritik walked in
"Hai Naira...." Said Kritik breaking her chain of thoughts
"Hai sir, sir mein na bahar jaake aathi hoon...can you just cover up for me for sometime?" Asked Naira getting up from her chair and picking up her bag and mobile
"Oh sure...surgery is only at 6 30 na tum aaram se aajao...Ill be here till then" said Kritik with a smile
Naira smiled back and started walking out when Kritik said, "Aur haan tell Kartik that I said hai"
Naira turned around surprised
"Aise mat dekho....meri bhi shaadi fix hui hai mein bhi sab samaj tha hoon"said Kritik with a knowing smile
Shaking her head Naira walked out when excitement of meeting him filled every cell of her body. With quick strides Naira reached the outer complex of the hospital and started heading towards the entrance as she didn't want to take her car to the nearby cafe. Coming out of the hospital started walking to the cafe. The happiness of meeting hip literally made her hop across the road when she saw someone walking towards her. With few steps in those long legs of him the man reached her
"Excuse me madam, hospital paas mein haina?" Asked the man
"Ji haan bas aise straight jayiye aur right turn lijiye Hospital hoga.." said Naira
"Ji thank you, woh mera bhai hai, hum dono tourists hai aur paidhal ghoomrahe the usko achanak se fits hogaya hai....ambulance number nahi lag raha hai isliye hospital jaake help maange jaa raha hoon" said the man
"Kahan hai aapka bhai? Ill have a look at him" said Naira
"Aap?" The man was surprised
"Ji mein bhi ek doctor hoon, mein ussi hospital mein kaam karti hoon, ek fits patient ko aise akela nahi chodna chahiye...hum unke paas jaathe hai mein khud hospital mein inform kardungi" said Naira
"Ji thank you so much" said the man and he started walking along the path he came and Naira just followed him. Soon he stood at the starting of the mud lane that left the main road and led to the woods behind the hospital. From where they stood Naira could see a guy lying on the ground about a 100 metres down the lane.
"Woh raha mera bhai" said the man and he started walking down the mud lane. Naira followed him.
Just on getting closer to the guy Naira saw that he was not even closer to having fits and thats when alarm went inside her, before she could assess the situation further the man who brought her inched towards her. Struck with panic Naira stepped behind and was about to turn around when the man clutched her hand signalling to the other guy who was on the floor who sprang up on his legs on receiving the signal
