Everyone was seated in the living room after dinner. Thunder rumbled in the distant sky and the clouds were waiting to unleash rain at any moment. Random discussions were going on between everyone until Naira and Gayu walked in plates of hot mirch badas

"Waah didi...baarish aane wali hai aur aap garma garam mirch bada laye ho ...hats off ji" Said Kuhu

"Sach bhabhi looking at these samosas just makes my mouth water" said Shubham slurping his tongue

"Sab log le lijiye..." said Gayu as the girls served everyone

"I am warning you Naitik ji, already the dhal bhati churma and balushahi from  dinner have filled my stomach completely and now seeing this badas I just can't resist them but eating them can burst my stomach..." chuckled Manish as he took a mirch bada in his hand

"Waah kya baat hai, saalon baad ghar ka khana woh bhi itna tasty khana kha rahi hoon...sach mein bohot acha lag raha hai" said Dadi as she took a bite of the mitch bada

Kartik who was seated beside Shubham looked at Naira who was standing in front of him with the plate of badas  as if claiming her permission to eat the mirch bada and she smiled knowingly making Kartik grab a mirch bada with a huge grin. While others didn't note it, Shubham was quick to notice them and he giggled

"Seems like someone is fulfilling their responsibility well...khane se pehle permission and all waah waah kya baat hai ji, waise abhi se shaadi shuda vibes aa rahe hai bhaiya" Shubham whispered to Kartik and Naira

Kartik who had already taken a bite of his bada spit it out in shock and started coughing. While this reaction was for Shubham's comment, everyone except Kartik , Naira and Shubham thought that Kartik had spit it out as it was hot and spicy

"Kya karte ho Kittu? Gharam cheezon ko aise jaldi jaldi mein khaate hai kya?" Asked Dadi as she gently patted his head

"Kartik paani peelo" Rohan gave him the glass of water and Kartik sipped it while the original Spice trouble began with Ansh. He had gobbled a whole mirch bada in a single shot and the Americanised taste buds of him started burning

"Ooohhhh....aaahhhhh....." he said as his face flushed

"Zyada teeka hai kya? Yeh lo tum bhi paani pee lo" Kartik gave the glass to Ansh and he drank the water

"Mahn its too spicy...how do you guys eat something this spicy" said Ansh after a few minutes

"Oye ye utna bhi spicy nahi hai tu bohot angrez hogaya hai isiliye tuje itna spicy lag raha hai" said Keerthi

"Ansh is never a spice lover ...yeh tumhe bhi pata haina Keerthi...so don't taunt him" said Swarna

"Keerthi is right , He has to get used to the authentic Indian food and their spice levels dont stop her" said Dadi

"But Dadi I need time to get adapted....Ill get through that course but right now my mouth is burning like hell" said Ansh

"Will an icecream help?" They heard a voice and in walked Suhana with a bag carrying two tubs of icecream
