It was dark when the safari came to an end and the camels ans jeeps got back to the campsite. Kaira's camel was the last one to get back. By the time they arrived the camp was set and the party had begun. Alcoholic drinks were being poured like water and the drinks counter was filled with people, both Kartik's college mates and Naira's friends from her ug times who were relishing different drinks and dancing to their heart's content. As Kaira's camel entered all eyes turned to them, making Naira grow conscious of herself..the thought that she was entering a site on a camel top with herself in the embrace of her fiance in front of everyone made every nerve ending of her crack up. Kartik could sense her awkwardness and gently pressed her hand that was in his assuring her that it was okay. His gesture made her relax a bit and she smiled faintly .
Just then the camel started crouching down to help them get off creating a jerk and making her press more into his well toned chest. Kartik's hands held her protectively until the camel was down on the ground.
"So...ride kaisa tha?" Asked Swadheenta with a smirk as she got to Kaira who just got off the camel
"Teek tha" scoffed Kartik not willing to face anymore teasing sessions
"Sirf teek tha..kya yaar sirf teek hone keliye itna mehnat karna pada..." said Adarsh
"Ab bas bhi karo na yaar aur mat chedo inko...chalo Kartik..its party time" said Avi
"Yeah...wohoo...its the time to party..." shrieked Suhana as the gang started to walk away.
Just as Naira rushed forward her feet slipped and she was about to fall when Kartik's arms held her in them. Their eyes locked and time froze at that moment for them
