~~~~~~~~~ A week passed since Kartik went back to Nainital. The long distance relationship management was going on smoothly as both of them again got back to their letters and phone calls. Work was hectic for both of them yet they never felt the burden of it because of each other's company. The love realisation had only made his yearning for her increase manifold times and so did his dreams.

Kartik was seated in his office going through the candidate documents while his earphones were plugged in and radio was turned on in his mobile

Kartik casually looked up from his file and was shocked to find Naira seated in front of him leaning on the table and watching him without blinking

"Naira tum? Yahan pe?" He asked
"Haan...aapki yaad aa rahi thi isiliye dekhne aayi hoon" she said
"Par...office mein..?" He asked
"Jab aap mujhse hospital mein mil sakthe hai toh mein aapko office mein mil sakthi hoon na?" She asked
"Haan par..." he said
"Par var kuch nahi...aur aap yeh kya kar rahe hai? Aapki hone wali biwi aapki saamne bheti hai par aap toh tabse file pade jaa rahe hai...without even noticing my arrival" she said standing up from her seat and walking to him
"Naira...woh...mein..." he stammered
Before he could realise she snatched the file from his hand "Naira...yeh..kya tha" he said pulling her by her hand to get back the file but that only made her slip and land on his lap with her hands around his neck while he held her carefully while the file landed on the floor with the papers flying in the air. Kartik and Naira were lost in an eyelock with their faces so close to each other
