Kaira Room

Naira walked into their room. The hangover of her panic attack was in its full potential. Every muscle of her body ached and her head weighed upon her like a rock. Taking even a small step required Herculean, efforts. She finally managed herself to make her way upto the bed successfully without collapsing on the way. The tear streaks ran across her cheeks as a faded trace. Her joints falling weak she dropped on the bed like a log. Her baggy eyes begged to shut but she couldn't, she was waiting for his call to hear that he was okay. Her doctor brain was bombarding itself with all sorts of worst possible outcomes of a road traffic trauma while her lover heart was trembling with the fear on listening to her brain. As the battle between brain and heart exploded into a violent chaos her mobile rang with a call from Kartik

"Kartik..."she said

"Naira...doctor ko dikha diya...aur unhone tests karne ke baad kehdiya hai ki koi injury nahi hai and my symptoms are due to the jerk, he also gave me some medication. I will send the reports and prescription to you...tum meri chinta mat karo mein bilkul teek hoon" he said

"Aur aapka mobile toh" she said

"Sim card ko Gautham ne retrieve karliya hai and I have arranged myself a mobile phone to use the number...ab tum batao panic attack aya tha tumhe...ab kaisi ho tum? " he asked

"Mein teek hoon Kartik..." she said

"Doctor ko dikhana hai kya?" He asked

"Nahi nahi I have had these attacks in the past too..I get them when Im scared a lot..there is nothing else to worry" she said

"And you never mentioned that to me" he said indignantly

"I myself had forgotten it Kartik...and today when I listened to your car crashing into the tree I thought I had lost you...already woh gun shot and the car speeding towards you had sown seeds of fear of losing you in my heart and today when I saw that fear coming true I just felt my heart collapsing and that brought back my panic attack" she said

"Itna darr...par kyu?" He asked

"Kyunki I love you " she said

"I love you too jaan...and Im sorry" he said

"Kis keliye?" She asked

"First for scaring you and second for not keeping up my word...meine promise kiya tha ki aaj tumhari paas waapis aajaunga but I couldn't and here I am going to Jaiselmar behind that Rohan...Im so sorry jaan" he said

"Yeh aapka duty hai Kartik and I don't want you to leave it behind for my sake...aapko usko pakad ne keliye jitna time lena hai lijiye...honeymoon hi toh hai hai phir kabhi chale jayenge" she said

"Bilkul bhi nahi...no matter what we are leaving for our honeymoon as per plan" he said

"Kartik..there is no compulsion to do that..."she said

"I know but I really don't want to push our honeymoon , its a chance to spend quality time with each other and Im not going to let my work get between us...Rohan ko arrest karna jitna important hai uthna hi important humari honeymoon hai...tum bas humari jaane ki tayyari karlo Ill be there on time" he said
