Hospital Udaipur

Swarna was seated with Akshara resting herself on the hand rest of the couch. There were stains if tears across her face, the tears having drained out she had no more of them left. Her red and swollen eyes constantly drifted to the OT lights which were visible from where she was seated. The light glowing brightly made her worried as hell

"Dekha...maan gaye aap ki aapko meri paida hone se afsos hai...dont worry papa ...aap ki galti ko mein sudharunga" Shubham's voice rang in her ears.

Her heart was aching for Shubham. That one hasty move which happened in anger has put him into this state. And now her little boy who was scared even at the name of an injection was undergoing a surgery. She felt so remorseful at this state of Shubham. She accused herself for failing as a mom. Her dropped sugar levels due to all day fasting along with the tension she had for her missing son and the concern for him since she knew about his accident all added up together. She felt her head spinning and the surrounding silence seemed deafening. Her body started becoming cold , as minutes progressed she felt her eyes slowly losing vision and snap a sudden darkness crept in

"Swarna ji...Swarna ji...." We could hear Akshara shouting as she held Swarna who was slipping off the couch

Hearing Akshara shout Naitik and Manish run to her help. Manish held Swarna in his arms and made her lie on the couch. Naira and Kartik who came rushing hearing the commotion get shocked to see an unconscious Swarna.

"Maa..." Kartik Shouted and ran to her, kneeling beside her he held her hand in his. The chillness of her hand gave him chills down the spine

His brother was already suffering and now his mother. Kartik didn't know how to handle all this. He just froze there with his eyes fixed on Swarna. Naira grabbed a bottle of water from the cabinet and got to Swarna, pouring the water in her hands she splashed the water on Swarna's face.

Seconds later her eyes slowly opened. The vision was blurry and there was a sharp pain in her head. She felt as if her head would burst by then. It took sometime for her pain to subside and only after that she recognised the faces of the people around her. Grunting to herself she tried to sit up.

"Maa...Maa....aaram se..." Said Kartik as he helped her sit up

Naira immediately extended the water for her to drink but Swarna nodded in affirmation. Kartik grew irritated.

"Maa paani pijiye...aapko phirse behosh hona hai kya?" Asked Kartik

"Nahi Kartik...I wont drink or eat anything till I see my son" said Swarna

"Yeh kya bachpana hai maa?" Kartik Groaned

"Swarna yeh sab faltu cheeson mein vishwas karna chod dho aur paani piyo" said Manish

"Meri baat suniye na Manish ji" said Swarna

"Nahi...hum aapki baat nahi sunenge...apko humari baat sun na hi padega...yeh paani pijiye..." said Naira assertively

"Naira beta woh Shubham..."Swarna said

"Shubham ki health jitna important hai utna hi Aapki health bhi important hai..ab aapko yeh paani peena hi padega...chup chaap paani pijiye maa" said Naira in a firm tone and she started feeding Swarna the water. Seeing her stern face Swarna drank without anymore protests
