Hello everyone, here I am with the next chapter. Hope you are all doing fine. Guys I cant post daily hereafter, if this offends you then Im sorry, my studies are getting more complicated as final year has started. Really have to do study for more hours than I usually do and my health issues too consume a lot of my time in a day and I really dont want to compromise on the quality writing under the pressure of posting everyday, Teri Ada is as special to me as it is to all of you and I dont want to give an average chapter to you guys so I will post two days once or at the max on alternate days. Hope you guys will understand my situation and support this story just like before . Still if you feel yourself losing connection with this story Im so sorry for that.

As the ceremony ended it was time for after party. Naira usually never stayed back for such parties but now with her winning an award everyone insisted her to stay back .

"Uncle please let her attend the party" said Suhana to Naitik

"Haan uncle...we deserve this celebration along with her" said Kritik

Naitik looked at Naira who stood silently . He knew that Vikrant was there and was skeptical on leaving her

"Papa Ill be with Naira till she stays back at the party and will drop her home" Kartik told Naitik as he understood his situation

Naitik smiled on hearing this and nodded in agreement making everyone squeal in happiness

"Woohoo...we will be having a lot of fun with both of you...Thank you Jeejs" squealed Suhana

"We will take your leave" said the Singhanias and Goenkas and they left from there

As they left the girls and Kartik were all set to walk inside. Thats when Naira's mobile rang. It was from one of the interns at the wards

"Aap log andhar jayiye, Ill talk to the intern and come" said Naira

"Ill be with you" said Kartik

"Nahi Kartik...aap andhar jayiye" said Naira

Sighing in agreement Kartik too joined the girls and they walked inside. Naira walked to the garden area of the venue to attend the call as the surrounding noise was less there.

"Haan bolo Anju" said Naira

"Mam..the patient...Mr.Uday his PAC fitness arrived...we can post him now" said Anju

"Thats a great news, we will post him tomorrow so put him on NPO from 10 pm everything will be good" said Naira

"Okay mam" said Anju

The call disconnected and Naira turned to leave , when she bumped into someone, Vikrant Kapoor. He was gazing at her with that same cold gaze. She hated this very gaze of him and now with that not changing even a made her cringe.

"Award jeeth li tumne...par kya mila isse ? Agar maan jathi toh aaj tum iss Hospital ke top cardiothoracic surgeon ki wife hoti...inn sab se bohot aage" said Vikrant

"Par mujhe khud yeh maakam jeetna tha...khud ki pehachan chahiye thi mujhe...I just don't want to be someone's wife" said Naira and she stepped away

He held her hand and stopped her. His hold sent chills down her spine. She felt so uncomfortable by his touch

"Phir bhi kisika biwi toh ban ne jaa rahi ho na...kon hai woh Kartik? Kya hai uss mein jo mujh mein nahi hai?" Asked Vikrant as he slowly got closer to her
