On the way back home Kartik was mercilessly teased by Shubham. Adding fuel to the fire, Keerthi also roasted him on call throughout the journey. To his relief Swadheenta and Adarsh had gone with Mr and Mrs Sinha. The mere thought of them teaming up with Shubham and Keerthi made his stomach squirm. Kartik's dread ended when the car entered Goenka house. He sprang out of the car and rushed to his room and shut the door with a thud. Shubham who came sprinting behind him was disappointed at the door being closed.
"Shubham hereafter you are not sharing the room with Kartik, you can sleep in the other room" said Swarna as she came there removing her ear rings
"Maaa" dragged Shubham
"What maa? Swarna is right, Kartik will get married soon and how can you share the room with him? Grow up Shubham" said Manish
"When is the marriage papa?"asked Shubham
"We will fix all that tomorrow. Before leaving I had a conversation with Mohit and Mr.Singhania, they have invited us to Singhania house tomorrow for tea and to discuss the wedding dates with the pandit" said Manish
"Its good then...Shubham chal sojao...Manish ji aap bhi sojayiye, Ill set the kitchen and come in sometime" said Swarna and left from there.
Manish dragged Shubham away when he was about to knock Kartik's room
Kartik on the other hand was sitting on the bed and his mind was ringing with Manish's words which he overheard seconds ago
Realit that his life was not the same anymore as it was hours ago when he left for the party from Goenka House hit him hard at that moment .His life had changed a lot in a few hours and that created tension in his mind but also gave butterflies in his stomach.
He was also surprised to realise that his life alone didn't change but he had also changed into a completely different person after his meeting with Naira . He had girls ogling him whenever he walked into his college and there were girls who yearned to get one indication from him that he is into them but all they got was disappointment and a few got friendship bands but this girl was different.
He remembered the thought that struck his mind when he saw her photograph for the first time "Maa lagta tha ki aapse sundar iss duniya mein koyi aur nahi hai par aaj iss photo ko dekhne ke baad lag raha hai ki aapse bhi sundar koi hai iss duniya mein" and smiled to himself. No girl had made him feel that way on the mere sight of a photograph Now his heart and mind jumped to the happenings of the evening.
"In person she was more beautiful than the photograph " thought Kartik as he opened his mobile gallery and found her photograph
"Naira...I don't know how but you have changed me all of a sudden" Kartik said to Naira's photograph
