The morning sun was shining brightly spreading its rays across the skies, splashing a few of them through the window of the BMW in which the bride and groom were travelling. Squinting his eyes due to the intensity of the sun rays that fell on him Kartik slowly woke up. On feeling a breathing sensation on his torso he looked down to find Naira sleeping peacefully resting on his torso
"Such a heartwarming sight to begin one's day" smiled his heart
"Hereafter every morning will be as heartwarming as today" cheered his brain as he tuned into reality
Smiling warmly at Naira he looked around to find Keerthi and Naksh sleeping soundly and the driver's concentration to be totally on the road. Making sure that he wasn't being watched Kartik placed a small peck on Naira's forehead.
Before he could adjust his position to make Naira more comfortable he could feel her moving and within few seconds her eyes opened as gentle as the petals of a blooming lotus. Snuggling onto him she slowly looked up to find him watching her with a soft smile. Doing a double take Naira blushed hard on figuring out the reality. Getting up she corrected her posture and was about to pull away from him when she felt a hold on her hand
"Good morning patni devi" whispered Kartik as he gently pressed her hand to ward off her awkwardness
The patni devi erupted fireworks inside her body. The sweet realisation that she was now his wife and they would be together forever made her blush harder
"Hayee....meri morning toh iss ek blush se good hogayi...waise mujhe abu tak apna good morning ka jawab nahi mila" he muttered as he gently pushed the lock of hair behind her ear .
"Good morning pati dev" said Naira in a soft voice
"I just cant believe that meri har subah itni hi good hogi...meine kabhi nahi socha tha ki mujhe tumhari jaisi ek pari milegi.." he said
"Aur meine bhi yeh nahi socha tha ki mujhe aap jaise ek Prince Charming milega...." She said
"Papa ki princess keliye mujhe prince toh ban na hi tha" he said
With him Mentioning papa Naira's thoughts flew to Naitik and she started missing her family. Just then she felt his finger wiping off the lone tear which was about to roll down her cheeks
"Papa ko miss kar rahi ho na?" He asked and she nodded
Taking her mobile phone he passed it to her
"Baat karlo papa se" he said with a warm smile
Unlocking the mobile she quickly dialled Naitik's number
"Princess" she heard a voice just after one ring
"Papa" she said
"Naira beta tum kaisi ho? Safar mein koi dikkat nahi haina" asked Naitik
"Sab teek hai papa...aur mein bhi teek hoon" she said passing a glance to Kartik who was smiling at her
"Naira...kahan pahunch gaye hai aap log" asked Akshara as she grabbed the mobile
