Hospital Udaipur

Suhana walked into the hospital ready for the morning shift. Just as she punched in herself at the reception and turned towards the opd she stopped with a jerk as Kartik landed on the reception counter

"Jiju....came to pick up Naira?" Asked Suhana to Kartik

"Actually haan....where is she?" Asked Kartik

"Ward mein hogi..let me call her" said Suhana

"Nahi uska mobile not reachable hai...I have already tried" said Kartik

"Acha.....but the wards never run out of signal" said Suhana

Just then intern Ajay walks into the reception

"Ajay...where are you coming from?" Asked Suhana

"Mam Im from Bihar" said Ajay

Hearing it Suhana slapped herself on her forehead

"Haan sahi jawab Sinha sir kya whole department is very proud of you my boy Abbey oye budhu I didn't ask your origin..Im asking where are you coming from right now?" Said Suhana

"Sorry mam...Im coming from the ward" said Ajay

"Cool...just run back to Naira up there do inform her that Jiju is here to pick her up" said Suhana

"But Mam isn't in the ward" said Ajay

"Then where is she?" Asked Kartik

"I don't know sir, last time I saw her was about an hour ago before I went to the labs to process the samples...." Said Ajay

Kartik's face showed concern on hearing it

"Then she must be in the opd" said Suhana and she started walking towards the opd while Kartik trailed behind her. The feeling of something bad hit him again. His heart beats rose and with every step towards the opd his eyes grew desperate to catch her glimpse. Suhana walked into the opd room and she was upset on finding it empty

"Jiju...." She called out

"Is Naira there?" He asked rushing as fast as he could

But just before Suhana could answer him, he himself reached the room and his heart sank on not finding anyone there

"Then where will she be?" Suhana was confused

"Lets look around" said Kartik

"Yes let us do that" said Suhana

Both Suhana and Kartik started their search for Naira. Soon Kritik and Neha who came out of the emergency OT complex too joined the search party. Rushing to the cctv footage room they were disappointed as the camera footage room couldn't be opened without authority so they decided to take matters into their hands and started searching everywhere possible.While Suhana and Neha covered the lower floors, Kritik and Kartik were in the upper ones. They knocked every possible door and checked in with every possible person but yielded no result. Vikrant who passed beside them enjoyed their concern and tension while a sadistic smile played on his lips. With every passing moment Kartik's heart lost its sanity and was haphazardly thundering against his chest. The concern for Naira and the fear of losing her got him crazy, he ran like a maniac screaming her name at the top of her voice until he stopped.
