The mela
Kartik and Naira entered the mela after grabbing their tickets. Naira was all excited on seeing the pomp and show at the mela. Her eyes shown in excitement while Kartik was happy on seeing that. Naira spotted the ferris wheel

and started to jump in excitement
"Kartik....wahan chalte hai na ...ferris wheel pe" she squealed and dragged him to the lane which led them to the ferris wheel.
"Salaam sahab ji" the ferris wheel operator saluted Kartik recognising him due to his uniform. Kartik smiled back and got busy in helping Naira get into the carriage and then helped himself inside
As they sat inside there was a little jerk when the wheel rotated a bit to help others get in. The jerk made Naira slip to one side and Kartik landed on her.Kaira got lost in a small eye lock.

"Careful sahab ji" cried the guy and brought them to reality
Naira's cheeks flushed as she realised their posture. She quickly moved aside and averted her gaze awkwardly while Kartik turned to the guy after pulling the safety rim infront of them
"Oye...dekh khe chala na...agar humein kuch hojatha toh" groaned Kartik
"Aapko safety lagana chahiye tha na" said the guy
"You should have waited till we settle down na..any way aage se dyan rakhna" said Kartik
"Ji sahab..." the guy said
Kartik leaned back and held the safety rim tightly as the wheel started to rotate as people started getting in. Soon Kaira's carriage reached the topmost position. Naira got excited on seeing the entire mela in a single view. She grew out of her awkwardness and squealed in excitement
"Kartik...kitna acha view hena..." she said excitedly but there was no reply from him. She turned to see him sitting still holding the rim in front of them tightly
