Hospital OPD, the next morning

Naira rushed into the opd room after her rounds. Suhana was already inside the opd when Naira rushed inside

"Good morning Naira" grinned Suhana

"Good morning Suha, can you just do me a help?" Asked Naira opening the files cupboard

"Hukum farmayiye" said Suhana

"Just go to the ward and look after the patient who is gonna be taken for surgery in an hour, Ill have to prepare the case-file of Pawan woh aathe hi honge" she said grabbing the file in her hand

"Acha ji...but Ill give the file and hand over Pawan to jiju while you go to the ward.." said Suhana getting up and walking towards Naira

"Suhana...yaar....woh....woh...kya hena....I have to explain the details of the case to him thats why Im already in my scrubs so that I can come straight away to the ot...mujhe sign bhi karna padega while handing over Pawan to him"babbled Naira

"Chehre pe saaf likha hai ki ab tak jo bhi tumne kaha na woh sab asli reasons nahi hai...mein tumhari dost hoon yaar pulling your leg is my duty and helping your love is also my duty...Ill go to the wards you have your time with jiju" said Suhana grabbing the ward file from Naira

There was a knock on the door before Suhana could turn towards it. Seeing Naira's eyes glow she understood that it was Kartik

"May I come in doctor sahiba?"came Kartik's voice

"Ji...aayiye na...baithiye mein abhi aathi hoon" Naira answered while Suhana stepped away from her thus enabling Kartik to grab a look of her

His heart plummeted as he caught her dressed in her scrubs with her hair tied up in a messy bun

"This girl steals my heart with every look of hers " he thought tried hard to normalise his breath

Suhana grinned as she saw both of them were lost in each other.

"Ill ask the nurse to get Pawan while Im up there in the ward till then you guys continue" she said grabbing their attention

"Sure" Kartik laughed nervously scratching his neck while Naira quickly turned towards the cupboard and started browsing the shelves. Satisfied with her act of embarrassing them Suhana walked out of the room

"Sister....ek handing over form layiye" Naira called out to the nurse while she was still rummaging the shelves

"Doctor Naira do you need any help" her senior pg walked inside the room very well aware of Kartik's presence there but on entering she acted as if it was a coincidence and asked "DSP Kartik...aap?"

"Im here to get Pawan with me to the court" said Kartik

"Can I help you with this Dr.Naira as you have your OT case in the ward" offered the PG she was the same PG who tried flirting with Kartik the previous day. Naira clearly understood her intentions as it was the very first time she had offered to help her in all these years
