"Woah Muma papa you guys were awesome" chorused Kaira
"Kya baat hai Naitik ji, aapne hume peecha chod diya" said Manish

"Haan muma papa ki chemistry ko toh maan na padega...dono ki jodi waakayi mein lajawab hai" said Rohan

Naitik and Akshara got down the stage, turning towards and casting a smile at Kaira who were cheering for them. At that moment everything got numb for Naira. She was to be leaving her parents in less than a week and now seeing them walk down she felt the burden of leaving them pressing on her all of a sudden. Yes she had been preparing for the day she would leave them ever since the wedding got fixed but still her heart got heavy whenever the thought of separation occurred. Her emotions overtook her and her eyes moistened despite her attempts to not cry. Kartik who turned to Naira was quick enough to notice her tears that were threatening to slip out of her eyes
"Naira.." he said in a husky voice as he gently wiped that tear drop from the corner of her eyes
"Woh bas.." she stammered trying to cover up her emotions
"Bas...? Bahana mat banao aur apni feelings share bhi kardo...hum saathi hai Naira" he said
"Muma papa ko dekh khe achanak se dil bharaya..." said Naira
He understood what was going on in her head and gently pressed her hands comforting her and said , " Iss shaadi se tumhara ghar chahe badal jaaye par rishte nahi badlenge...tumhe jab bhi unki yaad aathi hai hum dono Singhania ghar chale jayenge..." he said
She smiled at him for taking so much care for her emotions and rested her head on his shoulder againsnuggling closer as she tightly gripped his hand.
