The day began on a good note. Everyone was happy on going out together and the elders too had so much joy on knowing that the youngsters were going out to have fun. Naira was getting ready for their outing, though it was an outing for all of them she got ready with special efforts just because he had promised an alone time for both of them.
Giving a final check on her look she started walking out of her room. Her eyes yearned to see him and her heart was a bit disheartened as they weren't going to be alone. She who always loved going out in groups had started to like their alone time, it wasn't that she didn't like going out in groups it was just that she preferred his company more. Him being in Nainital made their meets rare and thus made her yearnings raise.
As she was walking ,lost in her thoughts she was suddenly pulled by someone from behind to the open balcony . She was about to shout when a palm shut her mouth making her heart skip a beat. She started to struggle to relieve herself when she heard a whisper
"Oye Sherni...mein hoon tumhara DSP sir" he said as he turned her to face him
"Aap" she said as her eyes bulged in surprise
"Haan mein...mere hothe hue tumhare saath aisi harkat karne ki himmat kisko hai?" He said as he pulled her closer by her waist closing the distance between them. She threw her hands around him subconsciously as they got lost in each other. A nice breeze was blowing which made the atmosphere more pleasant and romantic

It was the sound of everyone talking that broke their trance.
"Humein...humein chalna chahiye" she said pushing her hair off her face
He nodded and left his hold on her and turned around to leave when she winced , "Aah"
"Kya hua Naira?" He asked getting back to their previous position
"Something...something fell into my eye" she said trying to open her eye
"Tum ruko...mein karta hoon" he said
Kartik cupped her face gently , leaned forward and started blowing into her eye trying to take off the dust. She flinched as she felt his warm breath over her soft skin. The feeling of such a proximity made her hold him tightly as she didn't want to lose her balance due to the overwhelming emotions that were surging inside her. Kartik could feel her growing grip and felt himself melting in her closeness.
