Hospital, few days later
Shubham was well recovering. Swarna and Manish insisted that he stayed in hospital till he recovered completely making him stay there for few days.Manish and Shubham's issues got sorted and everything became better than normal.Kartik was on regular touch with him through chats and calls. Though Kaira didn't text much during the day their night calls continued. Keerthi had reached Udaipur the previous day on hearing Shubham's accident.
Shubham was seated in the cot. Swarna and Keerthi had gone home to get fresh as Naira assured them to take care of Shubham while on duty. While Shubham was browsing the television channels Suhana walked in
"Hey Fracture wali doctor" he exclaimed with a wide grin
"Hey Fracture wala Patient" giggled Suhana
Shubham looked down at his fractured leg and chuckled
"Just kidding...how are you bhams?" Asked Suhana taking his file in her hands
"Im good yaar..." he said
Just then the nurse walked in with a smile
"Mr.Goenka its time for an injection" said the nurse
"What?" Shubham was horrified
"Haan sir..." said the nurse and walked closer to him
"Nahi...please....tablet de dijiye na..injection ki kya zarurat hai" whined Shubham
"Darr the ho tum injection se?" Asked Suhana as she watched him sweat profusely
"Kya ho raha hai yahan?" Came Naira's voice
"Tumhara devar ji injection se darr rahe hai" said Suhana
"Bhabhi bacha lijiye na...injection ko cancel karwayiye...Ill follow everything else except this" said Shubham
"Injection zaruri hai Shubham...its a powerful medicine" Naira said getting to him and having a closer look at the medicine taken for injection
"Arrey itna bada hogaya hai tu phir bhi Injection se darr raha hai" said Suhana
"Yeh aur Kartik dono hi bachpan se aise hai...dono injection ke naam se darr jayenge" said Swarna as she walked inside with Keerthi
"Matlab jiju bhi darr the hai?" Suhana asked in disbelief
"Haan Suhana beta...Kartik is so scared of injections..pata hai ek baar kya hua tha?" Asked Swarna
"Woh haveli ki kahani...mazedar kahani hai maa..." said Keerthi
"Kya kahani hai woh?" Asked Suhana
"Bata thi hoon...ek baar hum sab humari haveli gaye the for the summer vacations...aur haveli ki gaanv mein na humesha ek kahani kehthe hai" said Swarna
"Sirf kahani nahi hai mumma bhootiya kahani" corrected Shubham
"Bhootiya kahani? Something like Manjulika?" Asked Suhana widening her eyes in excitement
"Something like that par yahan bhootni ka naam hai Sayani" said Shubham
"Haan Sayani....din mein yeh theenon bhet ke Sayani ki kahani sunn rahe the aur uss din raat mein Shubham aur Kartik uss Sayani ko dhoondh ne keliye chale gaye the" said Swarna
