The next morning, Gym

Shubham was running on his treadmill set to a speed of 12 with his headphones on and singing

Arey santee maar raha sansaar
Ab tu aane de lalkaar
Teri to baahein patwaar
Kadam hai tere hahakaar
Teri nas-nas loha taar
Tu hai aag milkha
O bas tu bhaag milkha

On full volume just like any other morning but his heart was not at peace. His thoughts kept flashing back to the previous night

Birthday Party previous night

After dinner it was time for some duet. The DJ set the mood and all the couple got on the floor to dance while the single people settled with their ice creams to watch the duet. Shubham too grabbed his Black currant ice cream from the counter and was walking back to where others were when his eyes fell on Suhana near the drinks counter waiting for her mock tail. Dressed in that white gown she looked like an angel racing his heart from the moment he saw her before the party. All through the party he found his eyes wavering to her at every chance they got and even now he could feel his cheeks warming up on seeing her. His heart beats roe like crazy. Just then he snapped out of his reality as he saw the guy, the same guy who hugged her that day approaching her.

"Yuvraj" Suhana's voice echoed in his ears

"What's this Yuvraj doing here? Bhabhi's other colleagues have already left" he thought as he watched Yuvraj walk to Suhana

"Hey Yuvi...need a drink?" Asked Suhana

"Your eyes make me high than any of the drinks in the universe" smirked Yuvraj

"Tum bhi na..Delhi mein rehke bigad gaye ho" chuckled Suhana

While Yuvraj's words irked Shubham, he just couldn't stand him hitting on Suhana

"Will you dance with me?" Asked Yuvraj letting his hand out

"Yuvraj..seriously? Do people ask their friends on dance?" Asked Suhana rolling her eyes

"Han..especially when two close friends meet after so long..."said Yuvraj leaning forward

"You are drunk you should go home" said Suhana as the alcohol smell struck her as he leaned towards her

"So what..steady noon..dance kar Saktha noon ek dance toh Banta hai" said Yuvraj

"Fine.." said Suhana holding his hand

He slowly pulled her closer and his other hand slithered across her waist. Shubham just couldn't stand her being close to him. As they swayed to the beats Shubham's heart was at unrest

Shubham panted hard snapping out to reality. Since the previous night the sight of them close to each other kept bothering him.

"First he hugged her then he danced with her in front of my eyes" the heart wala Shubham groaned as he sat down on the gym ball

"Tu itna bad bad kyu kar raha hai? It's just an infatuation" scoffed the brain wala Shubham who was seated in the shoulder machine press

"Kyunki yeh pagal uss se pyaar karta hai" sighed the heart
