Shubham was in his room unpacking the luggage he had carried with him to Bikaner while he hummed Euphoria

Amidst his kurta sets, trousers and t shirts a soft synthetic garment touched his skin bringing his attention to what his fingers were gripping. There laid a red dupatta in his hand. For a second he froze before he realised where he had seen it before, it was the same dupatta that was falling down the shoulders of Suhana when he held her in his arms during the night of Valentines. Remembering which the violins that played in the background that night started playing in his mind now and Suhana's face flashed in front of him with her deep set amber eyes blinking with feigned innocence.

"Ek din keliye nahi ek pal keliye nahi zindagi bar keliye I love you....Rahul....I love you" her voice echoed through his heart while a tint of red appeared on his face. He was blushing...blushing hard despite his brain knowing that it was just a part of her enactment , the three magical words were still wrecking havoc to his poor little heart. Clutching the dupatta close to his heart he dropped on the bed grinning foolishly as he entered his la la land.

It was the knocking of the door that made him get back into reality. Stuffing the dupatta inside his suitcase he jumped up on it before yelling "Yes come in"

Slowly pushing open the door Ansh walked in. Seeing Shubham seated on the suitcase his eyebrows knitted in confusion

"What's going on here?" Asked Ansh

"Kuch bhi toh nahi...waise tu kahan tha abhi tak?" Asked Shubham

"Dont divert the topic Shoebam..." said Ansh as he sat beside Shubham

"Im not diverting anything...tu bata kahan tha tu?" Asked Shubham

"Was prepping for my university exams.." said Ansh

"Exams..." said Shubham

"Haan...they were to happen during bhaiya's wedding but got pushed indefinitely but now I have been intimated that they will be happening next month" said Ansh

"Matlab tu jaane wala hai?" Asked Shubham his voice breaking a bit

"Haan...I mean jaana padega..." sighed Ansh

There was a silent moment between them. Ansh could sense the breaking voice of Shubham and threw his arm around him

"Tu miss karega na mujhe?" Asked Ansh

"I hate to admit but haan Ill miss you my angrez bhai...Ill miss your Shoebam a lot" chuckled Shubham

"I know chachu and chachi have established their dream business there...it was their lifetime dream to settle down in the US and after their death Dadi had put in a lot of efforts to bring up the company and it's awaiting you there...and you have got entire upbringing there..though you gel well here you will be missing the place you grew up and will always be comfortable there ...still letting you go will not be easy mahn...I know when you came I was the one who pulled your leg the most...but it was all love...you are family...kaash we had more time with each other" continued Shubham
