Kartik's mobile rang and made him walk away with it. While everyone was about to walk away from the living area Kartik walked to them with a dull face
"Kya hua Kartik? All okay?" Asked Rohan
"I need to tell something to you all" said Kartik
"Whats it beta?" Asked Manish
"Papa woh...SP office se call aaya tha...they want to send me as a special training officer to Nainital for three months" said Kartik
"Wow Kartik....special training officer so soon? Thats an achievement mera bhai" exclaimed Adarsh
"Thats a good news Kartik, iskeliye itna sad face kyun bana rahe ho?" Asked Swadheenta
"Nahi woh..." Kartik tried to say something
"Three months did you say? Kartik tum three months keliye Nainital jaane wale ho?" Asked Swarna
"Haan maa...thats what it means if I accept this offer" said Kartik
"Then don't accept it, ghar mein shaadi hain...kaise jaoge" said Swarna
"Arrey Swarna shaadi keliye 6 months hena...woh sirf theen mahino keliye jaa raha hai...Adarsh is saying na its an achievement toh jaane dho na usse" said Manish
"Par Manish ji sirf decide kaise karenge...Naitik ji aapka kya kehna chahthe hai?"asked Swarna
"Agar Jamai sa keliye yeh ek achievement hai toh jaake aane dijiye...as Manish ji said we have 6 months for the wedding, this posting will not disturb it in any way" said Naitik
"Haan Swarna ji...agle 3 months keliye toh dulha aur dulhan ko koi kaam nahi hoga...shaadi ki wajah se unko rokhna achi baat nahi hai" said Akshara
"Okay fine...as you guys say...Kartik tum jaake aao" said Swarna
"Thats good...ab cab aajayega...aayiye packing karte hai" said Manish
Everyone walked away to get their luggage. Kartik whose decision wasn't even asked by the elders who spoke among themselves and decided what he should do was completely clueless. He was pacing up when he found Naira rummaging her luggage. He patiently stood outside her bedroom waiting for her to come out. Within moments she was out pulling her suitcase.
"Naira...ek minute " he called out
She turned to him dropping the suitcase on the floor
"Haan ji" she said
"Tumse kuch baat karna hai" said Kartik
"Ji..." she said
He held her hand and took her to the corner making sure to not run into anyone in the middle of their conversation
"Kya baat hai?" asked Naira
"Tum kya soch rahi ho?" He asked
"Kiske baare mein?" She asked
"My posting in Nainital for next 3 months, should I go?" he said
