Kartik was walking towards his tent when his mobile rang with a call from Mihir
"Hello Mihir" said Kartik as he attended the call
"Hello sir...Woh actually ek zaruri baat kehna tha isiliye itni raat call karna pada...Im sorry for disturbing you sir" said Mihir
"No problem Mihir, carry on Kya baat hai?" Asked Kartik
"Sir as per your orders we traced the supplier via the icecream vendor and we conducted a raid at the supplier's place where we found a diary which had some codes, our team cracked the codes just now and it revealed that a truck carrying the drugs is coming from Bikaner to Udaipur around 3 am tonight...and the vehicle number is RJ ** ** 7**6" said Mihir
"Thats a great find Mihir luckily Im here in Bikaner Ill go and nab them" said Kartik
"Par sir aap kaise sir? Aapki shaadi hone wali hai...iss time pe" said Mihir
"Shaadi keliye abhi bohot time hai Mihir...tab tak toh yeh truck haath se nikhal jayega...and I cant let that happen...tum ek kaam karo inform the local Inspector and ask them to alert all the check posts , Ill handle the rest" said Kartik
"Ill do as you say sir" said Mihir
"Okay" said Kartik and the call disconnected
Sighing he called the SP and informed him the happenings
"We are proud to have officers like you who are hell bent on solving a case even when they are getting married that day" said SP Chauhan
"Im just doing my duty sir" said Kartik
"Thats just like you Kartik, Ill inform the DSP of Bikaner and ask him to join you with his team, just nab the truck at any cost it will get us close to the case's conclusion" said SP Chauhan
"Sure sir...Im going to the local station right now" said Kartik
"Okay Kartik, keep me updated" said SP Chauhan
"Okay sir" said Kartik and the call disconnected
Kartik walked into his tent and grabbed his jacket. He turned to Shubham who was asleep on the bunk bed near his. He was about to wake up Shubham but the sight of him sleeping soundly covering his face with the blanket made it impossible for Kartik to wake him up. Taking his mobile out he typed a message
"Hey...Im sorry yaar..Ek important case hai jis keliye mujhe kahi jaana pad raha hai...choti si kaam hai jisko katam karke mein haldi function shuru hone se pehle seedha palace pahunch jaunga..." and sent it to Shubham,Ansh, Naira, Naksh, Adarsh, Avi, Rishi, Sameer and Rohan.
"Now no one will panic about me not being here" he thought as he walked out wearing his jacket
Walking to the camp site manager's room he knocked the door
"Kon hai?" Asked the manager as he walked out rubbing his eyes to ward off the sleep that was still stuck to his eyes
"Hello ji" said Kartik
