Kartik walked out of the restroom after he had changed into casuals. The long travel and the heavy dinner made him tired beyond words and he dropped on the bed with a thud. As his eyes were about to droop when his mobile rang and it was Naira
"Dr.Sahiba...." He breathed out as he looked at her name on the display . After reaching the palace, settling in and dinner just consumed both of their times that they could not spend some private moments since their arrival and now a call from her was just on time to cure his yearning
"Naira" he said attending the call
"Kartik...." He sensed fear in her voice and before he could speak anything the call disconnected sending chills down his spine. He knew something wasn't right and that made his heart pop out. He immediately started tracking her location.
The location led him to the backside of the palace and Kartik reached there as fast as he could. Reaching the pitch dark place the distance between him and her mobile abruptly disappeared on his map but there was no sight of her. Everywhere was dark and a hell breaking silence ensued in the place raising his heartbeat manically. The sight of Naira in the nitrogen chamber and her in Vikrant's hostage flashed through his mind and the fear of losing her gripped him. Panting hard due to all the running he slowly walked forward his eyes trying to scan through the soul wrenching darkness to catch a glimpse of her until he stumbled onto a mobile phone which was lying down. Taking it in his hand he turned on the display and the screensaver was their pic from the pre wedding photo shoot confirming it as her mobile.
