He kept punching him hard. Aadya was surprised to look at his anger. The guy couldn't tolerate the pain anymore and he felt as if Kartik would kill him then and there. Just then Kartik was pulled back by the resort staff and the manager rushed there
"Sir...kya ho raha ha hai yahan? Aap usko kyu maar rahe ho?" Asked the manager
"Shukar karo ki sirf maar raha hoon...agar mere bas mein hota hai toh mein usko abhi issi waqt jaan se maar dunga...Ranveer....local Inspector ko call karo...bulao unko..." shouted Kartik shaking off the people who were holding him
"Police...sir kya hua tha? Please batayiye na" Asked the manager
"Uss aadmi ne meri biwi ki drinks ko spike kiya hai...aur uss ke saath zabardasthi karne ki koshish ki...ab batyiye mujhe usko chodna hai ya phir usko maar daalna hai?" Kartik gritted his teeth
"Sorry sir...we apologise for the inconvenience you faced in our resort" said the manager
"Inspector Kunal" called out Ranveer and the inspector came to them
"Hello sir, Inspector Kunal Aghnihotri here..."said Inspector Kunal
"Inspector Kunal...Kartik Goenka DSP of Udaipur and Special training officer...le jayiye iss aadmi ko yahan se...make sure he gets what he deserves" said Kartik still storming in anger
The Inspector handcuffed the guy and the constables dragged him away
"Sir...mam's details need not come out in the case files..We will just avoid that part so that she need not keep travelling to Nainital for the enquiries. I promise to make sure he gets the worst punishment possible.." said Kunal and he left from there.
With the guy out of his sight Kartik's anger melts a bit and he turns to Naira who was made to sit in the couch while Ananya held her protectively in her arms. He noticed that she was slowly gaining consciousness . Soon she became conscious but her behaviour got weird due to the intoxication. Seeing her like that he felt so guilty. Someone had tried to misbehave with her and put her in such a state in his presence . This made him angry and ashamed of himself. But Naira didn't notice all this on Kartik as her eyes fell on a pastry plate. She got up and rushed to it
"Yaay..pastry..." she grinned childishly grabbing the plate of pastry .
"This will only increase her tipsy Kartik...please dont let her eat that" said Ananya
Nodding Kartik walked to Naira and got the pastry from her before she could eat it. She pleaded with her eyes, asking him to give it back but he refused with a stern stare
"Woh dijiye na" she screamed
"Nahi dunga...you should not have it" he said
"Doctor mein hoon..mujhe mat sikhayiye..dijiye muje" she said
"Naira..no..." he refused
