"What a tough little mouse you have here, acting Captain."

Little mouse?

What the heck?

"Hoy, are you pertaining to me?" Sigaw ko kay Aries.

"Is there any other mouse here?"

The nerve of this guy to call me a mouse! I'm not short!

I'm 152 centimeters!

Maliit nga, damn!

Inis ko siyang inirapan at humarap kay Ace. Nalilito ako sa nangyayari ngayon. Anong sinasabi ni Aries na acting captain?

Napatingin din si Ace sa akin, "Do you mind explaining what's happening here? Anong acting Captain?"

"Well, you see..."

"Ace is a temporary captain of Pridewood." Pagsingit ni Aries. Pabida, hindi ko naman siya tinatanong at bakit ganon? He's looking at me with those cold eyes. All I can see is a blank, walang expression. Just plain and cold.

And what the hell's a captain?

"A Captain acts as the team's frontline, pag wala ang President they are the ones in charge of the whole faction." Aries explained.

Ikaw ba tinatanong ko, jerk?!

Ngumiti sa akin si Ace habang si Clive naman ay patango tango while Priya is just standing beside Aries at masama ang tingin sa akin.

"Pridewood's captain is still on a mission, a very long one to be exact. Low profile kasi si Sorren, and believe it or not, no one knows his face except for Scout, they are siblings."  Gulat akong tumingin kay Ace. So, Scout is the sister of our captain? Bigla tuloy akong nacurious sa pagkatao ng mga members ng Pridewood.

Scout's a fucking drunk and her brother is a captain!

Talk about their huge difference.

After that encounter, we went back to our guild. Ramdam na ramdam ko ang pagod at pananakit ng katawan ko, especially my cheeks!

Bigla kong naalala si Aries. His intense cold stare is bugging me out. I can't forget how intently he looks straight into my eyes without showing any emotions.

He looks dead inside.

Priya called him captain so that means he must be really strong and powerful. Idagdag mo pa yung magic energy niya na para akong hihigupin tuwing malapit siya sa akin. I can't help but wonder, anong klaseng magic kaya ang mayroon siya?

Why am I thinking of that jerk?

He's an asshole and by the looks of him, he thinks highly of himself. Kung laitin niya kami para bang langgam lang kami sa paningin niya.

Someone knocked at my door. Sino naman kaya 'yun?

Bumangon ako para buksan ang pinto at bumungad nanaman ang nakangiting mukha ni Ace.

"Why?" I asked.

Itinaas niya ang isang ice pack na hawak niya.

"I noticed that your right cheek is swollen, kailangan mo lagyan ng cold compress para gumaling. You don't want to look like a chipmunk, don't you?" He chuckled.

Natigilan ako. 

"Hey, Daph. Come here, namamaga yung pisngi mo oh." Kuya Dylan shouted while I was busy playing.
