The anniversary of Emily's disappearance has arrived, and (Name) must attend as a family friend. Her aunts are also in attendance; the twins were kidnapped by Chloé again yesterday. They had a sleepover without her because the blond girl wanted to show her how much she was missing out on by staying in her room.

"So, what should we do now?" Adrien asks as she lies on his bed, gazing up at the ceiling. She's been miserable since she arrived, the atmosphere of the place getting under her skin.

Adrien sits at his desk, still perplexed as to why he thought his father and Nathalie were dating. He never considered it a bad idea if they were truly together. It reminded him of those dramas where the love interest uses the character to distract himself from his other love.

(Name) looks at Adrien, she can see how deep he is in his thoughts. She turns to the kwamis who are having a conversation that she can't hear, they would stop whenever she would look at them, it's weird. "Adrien, what's in your mind?"

Adrien smiles sadly as he shifts his thoughts. He checks his computer for a picture of himself and his mother. His eyes well up with tears as he realises how much he misses his mother. Every day, he wonders where his mother is and questions himself about why she abandoned them.

The girl gets up and walks over to her friend. She's worried she asked the wrong question, and she's not good with words in these situations, so she just hugs him like he always does when she's not feeling well.

They hug silently, and sadness fills the air. Nathalie walks in and sees the two hugging; she pauses for a moment before clearing her throat. "Your father is waiting for you downstairs, Adrien, and you may greet the visitor if you wish, Ms (Name)."

To her friend's chagrin, the girl unwraps her arms around him. He enjoyed having her arms around him, but everything has an end. He wipes his tears away and gets to his feet.

(Name) decides to join them in greeting the guests because she does not want to be rude.

Adrien is standing next to his father (Name). In the living room, the two older (Last Name) twins can be heard conversing. Nathalie opens the front door, revealing a figure silhouette. It's a woman who looks a lot like Adrien's mother, Emilie. He gasps in surprise. "Mom...?"

A woman who resembles Emilie parades in. "My, my! Look at how much you two have grown," she says, kissing Adrien on the cheek along with (Name). "Aren't they just the cutest, Gabriel?"

(Name) was last seen by Emilie at her husband's funeral, but she still acts as if she hasn't seen her in years.

Gabriel is tense as he speaks. "I'm sure Adrien is delighted to have such a timely visit from his aunt, today of all days." It's always strange seeing his sister-in-law. She looks similar to his wife yet so different at the same time.

Adrien's confusion changes to surprise. "Aunt Amelie?"

"I'm soo happy to see you again! I thought it'd be better if we were all together on a day like this! Don't you agree, dear?"

Adrien smiles broadly, while Gabriel frowns at her. Adrien's bodyguard enters, followed by Adrien's twin cousin, Félix. "Félix?" Félix extends his hand for a handshake, but Adrien instead hugs him. "It's great to see you again!"

Félix is not amused. (Name) thought he looked as miserable as the day his father died. She can understand since the father and son had a great relationship.

"Aw, they look exactly like twins! Don't they, Gabriel? Do you remember when they used to have so much fun pretending to be each other? Once they had you and Emilie fooled for an entire weekend!" she laughs, trying to lighten the mood. "We laughed so hard!"
