Robin and Finney have been together for 3 months. Well, in technical terms, 3 months, one week, and 5 days. But honestly who's counting?

"Do you know how long it's been since I first asked you out Finney?"  Robin asked, smiling warmly at the boy sprawled out on the floor beneath him. "Of course. 3 months!" Finney said smiling big, his teeth showing. "Well actually.. it's been 3 months, one week, and 5 days." Robin said laughing. Finn laughed as well. "Okay Mr. Science." The fluffy haired boy said, voice laced with sarcasm. Robin laughed again at Finn's tone and stood up from his bed. Stretching his hand out for Finney, Robin asked the other what he wanted to do today. So far the boys have played monopoly, which frankly Robin sucks at ("How have I landed myself in jail more than 5 times!"), watched Guardians of the Galaxy (Finney's choice) as well as The Purge Collection ("No more Texas Chainsaw Massacre Robin. Please."), and slept. Finney connected his hand to Robin's, letting the other pull him up from his comfortable position on the floor. "Hm. How about we go to the arcade?" Finney suggested, slightly leaning his head to the side. "Okay, let's go then!" Robin exclaimed, pulling the other boy downstairs. The pair put their shoes on and headed out the door, a conversation about how bad Robin is at monopoly ensuing.

"I swear it's because you were cheating Finn!"

The two boys arrived at the arcade a little over 11 minutes later, having gotten some snacks on the way there. Robin, who was still chewing on some form of sour candy, looked around at all the brightly-lit arcade games in front of him. He turned his head towards Finn, who was looking in awe. "Hey Robin, look at this one." Finn said in astonishment, seemingly pointing at a rocket ship roller coaster game. Robin chucked and rolled his eyes sarcastically. "I'm only riding this with you once Finn." Robin said to the boy who was already getting comfortable in the game's seat, a big smile on his face. Robin sat next to him, buckling himself in. "Ready?", "Ready."

It had been almost 5 hours of Robin and Finney playing arcade games, most of them two or three times, and they were now bored. "You hungry?" Finney asked, looking at Robin who was slightly red from the heat emitting from the small arcade. "Bien Dios, yes. I could eat a whole farm to be honest." Robin replied laughing. Finn smiled and linked his arm with Robin's. "I know a place."

Finney had brought Robin to a small restaurant, which was beautifully decorated with bundles of flowers and different pieces of historical art. It was dimly lit, a small yellow light hanging from the middle of the ceiling of the room the two boys were seated in. This was where Robin had taken Finney for their first date. Just being here made Robin's insides feel warm and fuzzy. Finney was feeling no different than the other boy. He had a small smile plastered on his face, which was slightly pink, and his heart felt full. Finney looked at Robin, who was already staring at him, and he smiled even bigger. "Do you remember?" Finney asked slowly, still smiling that big smile of his. "No, I have never been here before." Robin replied, returning the smile. Finn laughed, a bit too loud, and linked his hands with Robin's. "Our first date. This is the place I realized I truly loved you." Finn said, his eyes not leaving the boy seated across from him. Robin swore he could feel his heart skip more than 3 beats. He gazed at the boy in front of him lovingly. "I love you Finn. I've loved you for so long." Robin said, just like he did that night. Both boys slightly leaned in to the middle of the table. Their lips met, Finney's hands sliding over Robin's shoulders. The two broke apart after hearing the clearing of someone's throat.

"A strawberry milkshake. Two straws?"

Two nods came from the duo as their milkshake was placed in front of them. The boys gazed at each other, as if it was their first time seeing the other's face. "I love you" both said in unison.

Robin had now joined Finney on his side, their hands linked between them. They drank their milkshake, Robin blowing bubbles in the drink using his green, and very bendable, straw. Finney smiled at the other's childish behavior, patting his back when he choked on some of the shake while trying to swallow a mouthful of it. The two boys were completely happy. Just by being together, the two knew they'd be okay.

They would always be okay.
