Walking alongside one another, hands intertwined between them, two boys made their way through the park. The trees beside them moved in sync with the wind, dancing in a pattern of shakes and tilts as the different colors of their leaves mixed together. The shoes of the two boy's flattened the leaves on the path they were taking, decorating the gravel with orange, yellow, and red foliage. The boy on the right shivered, clutching his jacket closer into his skin as the air around him pecked at his exposed skin. His nose was pink, his face pale. The boy next to him turned towards him, leaning close to push his lips onto the other boy's. If his purpose was to make the other boy warmer, it sure did work."I think it's best if we head home now. It's getting dark out."
The other boy nodded, allowing himself to be grabbed by the waist and led to their apartment.
————Finn knelt by the fireplace, poking and turning the wood inside of it with a black rod. He watched with wide, wondering eyes as the small flames grew, illuminating the room he was in with flickering orange and yellow shadows. The radio behind him crackled, the sound of a man's voice fading in and out, something about an oncoming blizzard.
Robin crouched down next to Finn, a hand removing the rod from its place in the other's palm. "Do you want to dance with me?" Finn looked towards the other boy, cheeks more colored than usual due to the heat from the fire. "I'd love to."
Robin put a hand out, standing up and waiting for the other to do the same. Finn grasped the hand in front of him, lifting himself up and smiling at his boyfriend. The radio began to play a song, no longer crackling with the sound of static.
The two boys swayed softly to the song playing, occasionally spinning each other around with amused and loving eyes. Outside, snow started to fall and slowly build up around the apartment. Both boys would find themselves being extremely grateful for the groceries they had bought earlier that week.
————Across town, a blonde haired boy and his boyfriend were in their backyard, snow covering their gloved hands. The blonde grumbled, sniffling from the cold weather surrounding their town. He rubbed his gloved hands together, attempting to get the frozen feeling to depart from them. He grumbled once more when he realized his attempts weren't working, shoving his hands deep into his coat pockets instead. The boy next to him stuck one of his gloved hands into the other's pocket, caressing it gently as an offer of warmth. The blonde smiled at him, shuffling closer to give him a loving kiss on the head.
"Let's go inside V, snow is starting to fall quicker."
The blonde nodded quickly, legs wobbling in the slightest as the cold was beginning to freeze them whole. His boyfriend dragged him back into their house, immediately getting to work on making two hot chocolates.
Vance laughed at Bruce's motherly behavior, removing his coat and exchanging it for a soft blanket as he settled on the sofa. He picked up the radio, flicking through the different channels of it and settling on one that was currently playing a slow song. He smiled, standing up once again and moving towards the other boy in the kitchen. Bruce was staring intently at the two mugs of hot chocolate he had made, waiting for them to cool enough to be able to be served. Vance slid his arms around his waist, pressing a light kiss to his collarbone. "Dance with me?" Bruce turned in his embrace, smiling at him as he pecked his nose. "Of course."
Vance grabbed his boyfriend's hand, leading him to the center of the living room and beginning to sway with him to the rhythm of the song. The two boys smiled at each other, both leaning in close to share a loving kiss.
