(The boys are both 19 in this.)

It was midnight in North Denver, Colorado. Bruce and Vance had spent the entire day together, soaking up each other's presence. Both boys were currently sprawled across Vance's couch in his living room apartment. It was a nice, cream colored L-shaped sofa that could hold up to maybe 5 people. Vance was propped up against the L section, Bruce taking up the remaining sofa space. The raven-haired boy had his head nuzzled against his boyfriend's stomach, a hand running itself through his hair.

It had been a couple hours of the two boys just laying there comfortably. A radio was playing soft music nearby, occasionally with Bruce and Vance joining in. 'Dreams' by Fleetwood Mac had just finished a short while ago, the song being replaced by 'Careless Whisper'. The same song that played the night Bruce and Vance had met. The two boys looked at each other, different shades of pink making way onto their faces.

"Would you do me the honor of dancing with me, Mr. Bruce Yamada?" Vance asked the raven-haired boy, starting to stand up out of their current position. "I would love to Mr. Vance Hopper." Bruce replied with a soft laugh. Vance offered a hand out to his boyfriend, pulling him off the couch.

'Never without your love..'

Vance's hands slid across Bruce's waist, pulling him close to his chest. He smiled warmly down at him. Bruce returned the smile, his arms making their way over his shoulders and around his neck. The two swayed slowly to the rhythm of the song. Bruce's head softly laid against Vance's chest. He could hear his heartbeat. It made Bruce smile.

'Tonight the music seems so loud'
'I wish that we could lose this crowd'

Bruce looked up at the boy holding him, his face warm. Vance looked down at him, a soft pink blush coating his cheeks. They leaned closer together, if that was even possible, and pressed their lips together. The song continued to play from afar, becoming slowly drowned out by both boys as they kissed happily in the middle of the living room.

Authors Note - I know this song isn't about a working relationship but it started playing and it made me think of this couple :). Sorry it's kind of short.
