Finn stared at the boy above him, a frown on his face. Robin just smiled in return.

"What do you want Robin?"

Robin didn't say anything. He just smiled. Finn was starting to get uncomfortable sitting there underneath his gaze. He tried to stand up but a pair of hands pushed him back against the wall and down to the floor. Finn groaned in both annoyance and pain. His mouth opened to say something but he felt a sharp slap to the face before any words came out. Finn grabbed his face, which was now red on one side, and glared at the boy in front of him. Robin glared back this time, his smile disappearing. A foot collided with Finn's side not a second later. He cried out in pain before a hand slapped itself over his mouth. Finn's eyes looked at the hand then at the person the hand belonged to. Robin smirked before running off to god knows where. Finn's eyes were overflowing with tears from both pain and anger. He slowly stood up, clutching his side, before he made his way back in to the arcade.

"How could you just let him leave Vance? What the fuck dude." Bruce yelled, anger taking control of his body. He was worried Finn would get hurt.

"He couldn't have gotten far. I'm sure he's fine!" Vance retorted with just as much anger. He was also worried about Finn.

The two started pushing each other until the door to the arcade opened quite forcefully. Finn stood there, a hand on his side and tears flowing from his eyes. Vance and Bruce glanced at each other.

Bruce was absolutely pissed.
_

The trio had gone right back to Vance's house. They were all sitting on the couch side by side. Finn's injuries had been inspected and they weren't too bad but they weren't good either. Bruce was now ignoring Vance because, in Bruce's mind, this could've been avoided if Vance had just watched over his friend more carefully.

Finn blamed himself. None of this would've been happening if he had been a better friend all those years ago.

Vance was pissed and annoyed. Pissed because he didn't protect Finn when he could've. Annoyed because Bruce is ignoring him for something that is now out of his hands.

Therefore, the trio was sat in silence. Consumed with their thoughts.

Finn couldn't handle the quiet. He needed a conversation or to touch someone. He didn't know how Vance or Bruce would react if he touched one of them right now, so he just chose to talk.

"Guys."
"What Finn."
"What do you want."

Suddenly, Finn didn't want to talk anymore. He didn't want to lose his friends by being annoying so he snapped his mouth shut.

"What is it Finn?"

He heard Bruce sigh next to him. Great, he was definitely being annoying now. Finn shook his head, his eyes becoming warm with tears.

"You were gonna say something so say it."

Now Vance thought he was annoying.

Finn slowly got up and stumbled to the restroom. He didn't want to cry in front of them. Then he'd seem stupid. Maybe he was stupid. He thought he heard voices calling him back to the living room from behind him but he ignored it. As soon as Finn got to the bathroom, he slammed the door behind him and locked it. The tears were flowing freely and quickly now. Finn felt several different emotions. He felt stupid. He felt angry. He felt broken. He just wants to know what he did to cause Robin to hate him so much. He used to protect him from bullies and now he's become one of them. Finn's sobs became louder and louder in the restroom. So loud that he didn't hear the banging against the door behind him. Finn's hand clutched his chest and he gasped out, his breathing was starting to become ragged and quick. The banging on the bathroom became louder and Finn finally became aware of it. His shaking hands unlocked the door slowly and as soon as he heard the lock un-click, it was swung open. Vance stood there, his eyes wide when they fell upon Finn. Bruce was on the side of the blonde, his eyes equally as wide. Vance moved to touch Finn but the boy stepped back. Vance frowned.

"Finn?"

Finn started to sob again. His cries were loud and they hurt his chest. Vance moved once more and sat Finn on his lap against his chest. The small boy cried until he couldn't anymore. Bruce sat beside the two with tears forming of his own. Vance held his hand. The three boys sat in the bathroom with each other for three hours.

So much for that drive-in movie.
