TW - Self Harming Implied / No One's PoV
Finney had been in the bathroom for hours. His back was slumped against the wall, his head propped against his knees. The boy had been crying. It was very evident. Tear stains had been left on his face and his eyes were puffy and red. Finney doesn't remember when the crying started, or when he had arrived in the bathroom. He only remembers the horrible things his dad had said earlier. How much they had affected Finney.
"I don't know what your mom was thinking. Having you. You're just a waste of space in this home Finney. Such a selfish piece of shit."
Finney believed every word his father had said. Gwen had tried to talk to Finney after their father had dispersed to his room. Finney pushed her away, locking himself in his room.
Now he was here, sitting on the cold tile of his bathroom. His chest and heart hurt. He wanted to feel at ease, his head felt as if it was spinning in circles. Finney stood up off the floor, wiping his tears off as much as he could. He knew what he needed to do.
Digging through the drawers he found the object in mind. A small razor blade sat next to a tube of toothpaste. Finney smiled, more tears building up in his eyes. The razor blade was grabbed, now sitting in the palm of the boy's hands. A single tear fell, but Finney still smiled.
____________It was now Thursday. A day after Finney found his new habit. He had thrown on a tan, long-sleeve sweater and some blue baggy jeans. Looking in the mirror, Finney never hated himself more than now. He breathed out a heavy sigh, looking away from his reflection. Grabbing his bag and shoes, Finney exited his room.
_________
Finney stared at the brown building ahead of him. High School. Finney didn't think the whole experience was that bad. At least he had his friends, along with his boyfriend.
Robin Arellano.
Finney and Robin have been together, officially, for 5 months. Both boys believe it to be longer than that though. The two love each other dearly. So much so that Finney can't tell Robin about his habit, not wanting to lose the boy he's in love with.
__________
Finney walked up to the school's doors. Robin was leaning against the wall, a smile on his face. "Hey Finn, what's happening?" The tan boy asked, standing up away from the wall. Finn smiled, it was only half genuine. "Nothing much Rob." He replied with a light shake of his head. Finney's arms hurt, his chest felt heavy. His smile dropped slightly. "Are you sure you're okay love?" Robin asked the fluffy-haired boy.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
