"I wish I could live without you
But you're a part of me"
/
a brance one-shot in which two boys find their way back to each other after a break up.part one!
____"Yeah? Well fuck you too Vance Hopper. Fuck you too."
____
Vance Hopper was never seen as a good individual. He would always get in to fights both intentionally and unintentionally. The teenager had severe anger issues. It was a trait passed down by his father. Vance never had anyone that could help him control his anger. He never had anyone that would want to. His father hadn't been in his life since he was 6, having left the boy and his mother during the late hours of a Saturday night and never returning. His mother had taken his father's leave very hard. She started working longer shifts, leaving no time for quality time with her son.
At first, Vance would try to figure out what he was doing wrong. Why no one seemed to want to be by him. After a long time the thoughts ceased and the boy stopped caring about people seemingly not wanting to be near him.
At least, that's how it was until he came in contact with Bruce Yamada.
____Vance met Bruce at a park one early morning. Early morning as in 3 a.m.
Vance had enough of being home alone, waiting on the familiar sound of the front door opening and closing shut and the regular stressed sigh of his mother every late night.
The blonde had once been angry at his mother for never trying to make time for him but, over the last couple of years, he tended to instead ignore the sad feeling he once carried around on his shoulders and shelter himself away.

Bruce hadn't really had a reason to be out during the time. He just liked the peacefulness the night brought. He liked the bright stars that hung themselves in the sky and danced around in the darkness. He didn't pay attention to them before but his best friend's ranting about constellations and the universe slowly got him in to it.

When Vance had arrived to the park, Bruce was already there. He was on top of the small slide, his head tilted upwards with a smile on his face. Vance didn't pay much attention to him at first. Not until he had sat down on a swing and the dark-haired stranger came and sat next to him.
"The sky is beautiful tonight, don't you think?"
That's the first thing Bruce Yamada had ever said to Vance Hopper.
Vance gave the boy a confused look, tilting his own head up at the sky. He didn't get it. Yeah, there were stars and they shined brightly. But Vance couldn't connect them and see them dance around like Bruce could.
"I guess so."
Bruce smiled at Vance. It made the blonde feel warm. He didn't like it.
"What's your name?"
Vance cocked his head to the side.
"You don't know my name?"
Vance was known by everyone and their families in this town. He was infamous.
