Finn shook his head quickly, immediately rejecting the idea Bruce and his idiotic boyfriend had just proposed. "There's no way in hell I'm ignoring Robin. He'd end up either killing me, crying in my arms, or ignoring me back. And, not to be rude, but I wouldn't want to see any of those things happen." Vance groaned, leaning his head against the wall behind him. "Finney. It's a harmless prank. Nothing like that is going to happen." Bruce nodded, standing in front of Finn with a smile and crossed arms. Finn rolled his eyes, pushing past his two friends in attempts to leave the room. "Hey. If you do this, I'll get you that new telescope you've been wanting." Finn stopped in his tracks, annoyed that he secretly really wanted what Vance had just brought up. "Okay fine. But, if things do go wrong, you're getting blamed." Vance and Bruce put their hands up in surrender, laughing as Finn glared at them before walking away.

Vance had invited Robin over earlier that day, before he insisted on Finn pranking him. Now that he remembered, Finn was freaking out.

"Vance you're fucking dumb!" Finn threw his hands in the air, immediately putting them in his hair afterwards and pulling at the strands. Vance flicked him on the forehead and removed his hands pulling at his hair. "First of all, language. Second of all, like I said, it'll be fine. Just don't speak." Finn rolled his eyes, jumping frantically when there was a knock on the door. Vance smiled at him before going to answer it. "Vance I swear to g-"

Vance opened the door, cutting Finn off and smiling towards Robin. "Hey! Come in." Robin happily obliged, waving at Bruce who was sat on the sofa near the door. Bruce waved back, tossing a glance towards Finn who looked down at his lap. "Oh, hey Finn! Didn't know you'd be here too." Finn wanted to say 'neither did i' but, like Vance had said, he wasn't supposed to speak. Robin frowned at his quietness, walking over to the boy to check if anything was wrong. "Finn? Everything okay?" Again, the boy didn't respond. Robin looked towards Bruce and Vance, receiving blank looks and shrugging shoulders as a response. He sighed, moving away from Finn and to the side of Bruce on the sofa. Finn excused himself, walking towards the bathroom quickly.
———
The boy shut the bathroom door softly, locking it behind himself. He sighed, sitting against the hard wooden surface as he planted his head on his knees. It hadn't even been thirty minutes of him ignoring Robin and he already couldn't handle it. Finn stood up, walking towards the sink slowly. He pushed the metal handle on the left side of it, washing as water poured from the tap into the basin below. He cupped his hands, collecting a handful of water and splashing it against his face. He flinched at the impact, sniffling as the water entered his nose. He wiped his face with a towel, looking at his reflection once before exiting out the bathroom door.
———
Finn entered the living room again, sitting in the spot he had moved from. Robin eyed him curiously, watching as he once again looked towards his lap and remained quiet.

"Okay. What the hell is going on? Why is Finn so quiet?"

The two other boys shrugged, not fully responding to the question asked. Robin narrowed his eyes at them.

"Finn."

Finn lifted his head slowly, not opening his mouth to respond. Robin stared at him for a moment, waiting for him to say something.

"Why aren't you talking?"

Vance looked at Finn, cocking his head to the side to see if he'd give up on the prank or not. Finn looked at him before he looked back at his lap. Robin groaned angrily, looking between the two boys. Bruce watched the three boys, confused on what to do to ease the tension.

"Vance what did you do?"

The blonde looked towards Robin, a look of disbelief on his face. "What makes you think I did something?" Robin rolled his eyes. "You two looked at each other like you- wait. Finn are you ignoring me as a prank. Vance I swear to god." Vance and Finn looked at each other, both of them smiling before laughing loudly. "I'm sorry Robin. I wanted this rocket-" Robin gasped, pouting jokingly. "You ignored me for a rocket?" Finn nodded his head, shooting a look at Vance. "You better still get me that by the way. I never actually gave up on the prank." Vance sighed sadly, digging his wallet out of his back pocket before standing up.

"Fine. Let's go."

Finn clapped his hands excitedly before following the blonde, leaving the other two boys alone in the house.

Let's just say, that wasn't such a good idea.

Vance and Finn walked up the stairs to the blonde's home, the younger boy holding a boxed rocket in his hands with a large smile. Vance unlocked the door, holding it for Finn before he too walked through. The two boys gasped loudly when they fully went into the house.

"Why the fuck is there mud and flour everywhere?"

Bruce and Robin emerged from the kitchen, faces leant towards the floor.

"We just wanted to make some mud cakes."
"What the f-"
