Finney's PoV

Robin and I were sprawled across his bedroom floor. The room was blanketed in a wave of heat, making the air smell of sweat and candy. Different wrappers of which littered the floor between us two. Robin seemed to be drawing something in his black sketchbook, which was placed in the middle of his lap. His pencil was scribbling softly on the white paper. I sat in front of him near the bed, my hands folded against my stomach.

I was bored out of my mind.

"Robin?" I spoke up. It had been silent too long. I hated it. "Yeah Finn?" He replied, not even looking up at me. "We should do something today." I thought about something new we could do. Something fun. Suddenly I came up with the perfect idea. "What do you have in mind Finn?" Robin asked, now standing up. His sketchbook and pencil had been discarded on the dresser.

"Call Vance."

Robin spoke to Vance on the phone. A double date had been decided upon. It would be Robin and I, along with Vance and Bruce. A picnic basket had been packed to the brim with different drinks and foods, Robin explaining it was a needed asset for the date.

The chosen location for said date was the park. After all, it was a romantic spot for most couples.
______

Robin and Finney left a short while later, having argued about who was gonna carry the picnic basket for ten minutes straight. They arrived at the park and chose to set up everything atop a big grassy hill.  Vance and Bruce joined the two not long after.

Bruce's PoV

I was so excited for this double date. It was a July afternoon, the temperature had started to cool and the sky was a beautiful orange and purple color. Vance and I arrived together, hand in hand. We climbed up the grassy hill where Robin and Finney were sat on. I smiled seeing the pair together.

"Hi guys!" I exclaimed with a toothy smile. Finney smiled big upon seeing me and Vance and jumped up to hug me. "Hi Bruce! Hi Vance!" Finney yelled, pulling me in for an embrace. Once we pulled apart, we sat down on the blanket spread out on the hill. "It's beautiful here." I said, smiling warmly at Vance who was staring into the sky above. "Definitely." He replied looking down at me, kissing our linked hands.

No One's PoV

The two couples had long since devoured the food, the drinks along with them. The group of four lay side by side along the hill, gazing up at the sky. The sun was almost completely set, the world playing as if it were on fire and melting away slowly. A slight breeze rippled through the air, making two of the teens shiver. Vance and Robin, being the great boyfriends they are, immediately covered Finney and Bruce in their jackets, which were brought just in case. The couples settled into one another, the warmth of each other blending together. A comfortable silence filled the air around them as the sun now fully set, stars dancing around the dark sky above. Different variations of "I love you" 's could be heard from each boy on the hilltop. Vance and Bruce kissed under the stars that night. Robin and Finney snuggled together, hearts swelling with pure love for one another.

They all agreed they should do this more often.
