Finn was having a nightmare again. In this one, he was tied to a chair. He was surrounded by nothingness and it was cold. So cold that it numbed his whole body. Finn closed his eyes. When did they start feeling so heavy?
___

Finn woke up in a random room on a bed he did not recognize. His eyes stung and his throat felt like it had been on fire for the past couple hours. Finn blinked and looked around the room he was in.

Piles of discarded clothes crowded the floor of the room. The walls were tan, except the back one which had been painted a dark green. Movie posters lined the walls as well as different photos of different people.

Finn moved closer to a specific spot on the wall. He recognized the people in one of the photos.

It was him and Robin. All those years ago.

Finn's eyes narrowed. He did another scan of the room. His eyes landed on a rack of bandannas.

Great. He was in Robin's room.

There was a small window towards the left of the bedroom. Finn contemplated if he should jump out or if he should wait for his captor to arrive. He didn't think he could face Robin, so he chose the other route. Finn placed his hands on the bottom of the window and slowly lifted it up. A loud creaking noise echoed throughout the room and Finn jolted backwards, the window shutting immediately. A pair of footsteps ascended up the stairs to the room Finn was in. Before Finn could make another move, the door was thrown open.

There, in all his glory, stood Robin Arellano.

His eyes looked over to where Finn was. He had jolted back hard enough to knock himself on the floor. Robin smiled at him. Finn frowned. He didn't know what was going on or what Robin was planning to do with him.

"Well look who's finally up. Is your head feeling better?"

Finn didn't even realize his head was hurting. His hand touched part of it and he winced when he felt a bruise. Robin picked up on this and sighed. He started to walk towards Finn but stopped himself when the boy backed up into the wall.

"I'm not gonna hurt you Finn."
"Bullshit."

Robin was taken aback by Finn's statement. He was about to say something when the boy on the ground spoke once more.

"You already did hurt me asshole. Then you brought me here while I was unconscious because you knocked me out. You're so full of shit Robin."

Finn breathed out shakily. Robin stood still for a moment before he walked over to Finn quickly.

"I wanted to apologize for how I treated you. But that thought is gone now."

When Finn returned to Vance and Bruce, who had been looking around the town for him for the past couple of hours with no luck, he had a new purple bruise on his face and a yellow one on his arm.

The two boys were sitting on Vance's porch when Finn approached them. They were looking at each other, seemingly having a conversation, before their attention moved to Finn.

Finn looked at Bruce, who's eyes had turned a darker shade, and softly smiled. He then turned that smile to Vance, who's hands set in fists by his side and eyes narrowed to the boy in front of him.
