"Fuck you
Can I have this dance?"
———————————The thing about love is, sometimes it takes you hating someone to come to terms with the fact that it's, in fact, not hate but love.

Finn groaned, having heard more than enough about the upcoming school dance. Bruce had been begging him to go alongside him for it, incessantly whining about wanting to go so he could have a shot at dancing with Vance Hopper.
"Please Finn. Pretty pretty please. We could-"
Finn turned around and placed his hand over his best friend's mouth, glaring at him with an annoyed pair of eyes. "Stop asking me about that shit. I'll go if you quit bothering me about it." Finn removed his hand, grimacing when the boy in front of him clapped his hands and squealed. "Thank you Finn! I mean seriously, you-" Finn blinked at him, slowly becoming annoyed once more.
"Fine. I'll stop talking about it." Bruce rolled his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips when he looked back at his best friend. Finn smiled as well, glad the whole dance conversation was over.
The bell overhead rung loudly, prompting people to quickly scamper to their classes if they didn't intend on being late.
"Well, see you at lunch Finn." Bruce waved to the boy before he began to walk to class, slowly becoming engulfed in the crowds of students passing him by. Finn waved back before he too made his way to class.
———————————
Finn sighed as he sunk down into his chair. He placed his notebook and pencil atop of his desk, along with his head when he was finished. It's not that the boy disliked the class. It wasn't like that at all. He just didn't feel like interacting with anyone today. Well, one person in particular.
Finn relished the short time he had to himself, visibly turning upset when it ended.
"Well, look who chose to sit next to me today. Y'know, I'm real flattered Finney." Finn slowly picked his head up from his desk, glaring at the boy who so rudely interrupted his attempt at sleeping.
"First off, I was here before you. Seems like you just got the last seat available." Robin smiled down at Finn, sitting himself down in the chair next to him. "I prefer my statement, but sure." Finn rolled his eyes and turned his head away, now facing the teacher who had just appeared in the front of the classroom.
"So today class, we're going to be learning about astronomy. You're going to be working with a partner on this and, no, you cannot choose them. Instead, I'll be choosing for you." There was a series of groans and 'boo's echoing around the room before they were all quieted again by a loud clap from the teacher. "Stop with the loud noises. I get you wanna do things your way but sometimes things don't work like that. Now, first up for partners is..."
Finn fiddled with his hands as the teacher spoke the names of people working together, hoping and praying that he wouldn't end up with the boy next to him.
"Next we have, uh, Finney Blake and Robin Arellano. Okay, then-"
Finn groaned, annoyed that his hopes and prayers didn't work out. He dropped his head back onto his desk and placed his arms over it, attempting to block out everyone around him. Sadly, that attempt didn't work either.
